Selling Sun City Texas has become a way of life for Pokey, having done so longer than anyone else. Pokey started her real estate career in 1971, at the ripe age of 21! Real estate has been her only profession for those 39 years. She became a broker in 1976, at which time she owned her own company in Arlington, TX. But, after several years of owning her company, she realized that her true love was sales, rather than management, at which time she sold her company to one of that city's leading real estate firms. She has never looked backed!

Pokey first became acquainted with the active adult communities when she was 12 years old, when on a family vacation to Disneyland she and her little brother begged their father to stop in Phoenix so they could see the original Del Webb's Sun City! She has never lost her awe and appreciation of the concept.

Pokey was a part of the first sales team at Sun City Texas (originally called Sun City Georgetown) selling a home the very first hour that the community opened in 1995. She resigned from selling only new homes in 2008, so that she could help her customers with resale as well as a new home purchase. Her success in 2010 made her the leading agent of home sales in Williamson County.
