I have been here for several years as part of the rv park. There was a different management when I came and not was done for improvements. New management has since taken over and the change in the community is fantastic. The owners are fully open to ideas and want to give residents what they want to enjoy within reason. Covid struck and they did a lot of updating during that time since we couldn't do activities. The transformation to the clubhouse and grounds was amazing. This is great community to live in and the management and owners are great.

I have been at Vista View RV resort for several years. It is amazing the transformation that the resort has seen since new management. They are improving the resort every day. The staff and the owner are amazing and listen to their community.

I moved here in Sept 2018 after my house was built and I’m so glad to be in this very safe, well kept, private community. I’m amazed at the beautiful views and just how quiet and peaceful it is to live here. I chose this community because it offered a wide variety of amenities and activities to enjoy and meet people. The monthly newsletter is packed with happenings so you can decide which ones you’d like to participate in. Besides enjoying the pool and spa area (including a barbeque area), there’s a fitness center with new equipment and low impact classes offered to help promote movement in a safe manner. While the pandemic had resulted in cancelling activities and closure of the clubhouse, management took the opportunity to remodel the clubhouse and kitchen area including new furniture and state of the art appliances. In addition, we now have a comfortable movie theater room, game tables, ping pong, shuffleboard, pool tables and a large library including jigsaw puzzles. Even if you choose not to participate in any of the activities, the clubhouse is a fun place to drop in, read, play games, visit or meet new people who share the same interests or hobbies as you. Retirement is meant to be enjoyed and Vista View provides many opportunities to do just that!

Vista View Resort is a hidden jewel in Sierra Vista, AZ. The resort is a 55+ Gated Community that has permanent residents and a RV resort. The amenities are phenomenal, a year round heated pool and hot tub. A nice medium indoor gym for those looking to stay in shape during the hot summer days or cold winter days. An outdoor exercise path with exercise machine stations to keep the outdoor lovers in shape. You can bike around the community using the bike path or just around the community. A state of the art Clubhouse with a movie room, a state of the art modern kitchen and enough room to have social functions in the clubhouse. You can play a game of pool, ping pong, air hockey or just sit down an enjoy a good book while relaxing in the clubhouse. There is a beautiful wall honoring those that served our country. Overall it is a beautiful place to enjoy as a permanent resident or while glamping in your RV. The management is always ready to support and has the best interest of the customer and the residents. A safe and secure place with breathtaking views of the mountains.

Vista View is a great place for active adults 55 and over. They have a lap pool and spa, clubhouse where there are a lot of activities, a gym to use whenever you want. The neighbors are so friendly, so if you are new to the area, of been in Sierra Vista, you will feel right at home immediately. It is so quiet and peaceful, it’s beautiful views of the mountains. Some residents don’t participate in activities, so may not have anything good to say, but it’s up to each individual, how you will enjoy the resort. Homes are built, completed, landscaping and all, all you have to do is move in and enjoy the people and the resort. Buy an existing home for sale, and if any problems, they are already dealt with, no surprises later. Some homes are in a prime area, where no home can be built in front or in back of you, giving you ore room.

We bought our home here one year ago, and we are extremely happy with the resort and amenities. The resort fees reflect what is offered by the resort, which include a great pool, and water aerobics, a gym, and Yoga classes, wonderful walking trails, a gated community, monthly potluck dinners, bingo, cards, and numerous other clubhouse activities. The resort also offers a hospitality home available for rent at an extremely reasonable price for guests. The mini golf was not being used by the residents, but with all the activities in the clubhouse extra parking was needed, which is now complete. The management is always helpful and courteous. We could not be happier about our choice to call this home.

Considering how inexpensive the homes are here it's a really good value. No, the amenities are not fancy but it has everything I need in a good location. Plus it has on-site RV storage which was a must for me.

This is suppose to be an affordable place for seniors on fixed incomes, maintenance free. It is not maintenance free, nor affordable. They keep raising lot rents, which our homes are on, land we do not own, therefore there is lot rent, which covers propety taxes, and amenities. Our homes are valued lower than the original cost of our homes when built 10-14 yeqrs ago, which brings the taxes down, yet the rents still go up. We have les amenities then when moving here, and less service. It is not a gated community as advertised, as it is completed accessible on three sides, where it is not fenced in. The wall and gates at the front of the property is so low, anyone could crawl over them, plus they took away our security we once had. The property is not maintained very good anymore, yet they keep raising the rent. They are building more homes, and have several model homes sitting vacant, which I believe thats what we are paying for, which is their property, and we shouldnt have to pay for upkeeping them and their taxes. The pool and spa arent maintained very well, and the water isnt heated much anymore, so what are we paying for. How are seniors here living comfortably with uncomfortable lot rent charges continuing going up, yet taxes and home values are down. I was told last year, the owner was generous by giving us a 15% decrease for one year, but then will go up this year in September, yet they are raising it again in October. The clubhouse and pool area are too small for all residents to be in at once. We were told when phrase 3 would start, another clubhouse and pool would be built, to accomodate all residents. In 2004 it sounded like the owner really cared for seniors giving them their own home, affordable for seniors, now they seem money hungry. I know prices for building went up, but we all shouldnt have to pay for that. When having ours built 13 years ago, my husband was here, i was back in the midwest. When closing time came, they sent me papers to sign, and i noticed they had upped the lost rent $15 from what we agreed on. I crossed out their amount and wrote in the one given us at the time of signing our building agreement, then initialed the correct amount, and told my husband, to make sure they didnt raise it again at closing. Wish we would have known then how dishonest they could be. Not a happy resident. Soon it will not be affordable for a lot of resident, sad, they will all have to sell, if anyone will buy into this resort. People will have to have big pensions to do so.

June 30, 2018 We bought in here in 2004/2005 and were told no rent increase until after 3 years. The rent would not change that entire time, then would go up 2-4 percent. After 4-5 years it went up 14%, retroactive to year one. We had onsite security and a company that drove through evenings, which was taken away, don't know when, never informed. The guy that cleaned the pool and common areas did a great job, and acid washed the pool and hot tub annually, and heated the pool comfortably. Now maintenance is down, pool cool, and dirty and in need of repair, caulking needed, and remove black mold. There was no electricity for two weeks, closing the clubhouse and pool, plenty of time to empty and acid wash, not done. Weeds are not kept up in the common areas, yet they get on home owners case if they have a few weeds. The walking path is in desperate need of repair, it's buckling in areas, making it a dangerous path for falls, plus animal feces you have to dodge, as it is not cleaned up daily as before. The mini golf course, shuffle board and bouncy ball all taken, never met with homeowners for input. They want our money for monthly rent, but don't follow through on keeping things up. They do have more things going on at the clubhouse for the residents, which has been a plus for those that use them. Staff are rude when you talk with them, ask questions, or have a complaint. It's like do what they want, pay what they want, for little service of the property, or no say in what goes on, or doesn't go on.

We purchased our property in April 2009. Since that time fees have gone from $330.00 to $438.00. It's very expensive to live here and increases are coming every 2 years. The last increase was $38.00 per month. The bocce ball court, 9 hole mini golf and shuffleboard have all been removed by management with no consultation with the inmates. We are without a voice here.

We have been living here for over 12 years and are sorry, as management doesn't do what you're promised when you're looking to buy in. Property values and property tax is lower than what our home originally cost to build, and yet the rent is constantly raised at a large amount. Maintenance here has gone down, the area is shabby looking compared to when we moved here, and they took away the 24 hour security we once had, with no informing residents of this, as well as it being completed gated, all four sides was told, and 12 years later, only walls and gates are at the front only, and low enough for anyone to climb over. The gates are left open all day long, for anyone to come in and stay and cause damage, or attack a resident. Once in, anyone can get out when gates close for the night, so makes non-residents to enter.
