My Shea home has such poor insulation qualities that it amazes me that Shea Homes uses the word "Green". Does Green mean "Green Money" out the walls and roof?
The entire Shea Trilogy Glen Ivy Community in Corona, California has issues with freezing cold 2nd bedrooms. The 2nd bedrooms are located to the front corner of most models and everyone complains of how cold this area of the house is. There appears to be no insulation where the slope of the roof in narrow in depth over these rooms. The roof members have blocked the installation of ceiling insulation. Very bad construction. This is a serious defect that Shea won't address! I am in my second home here. We need recourse for 1300 homeowners!
