Upon completion, the Independence community is expected to have 450 single-family homes. There are both single- and two-story homes available, and further options let homebuyers partially customize their new construction homes. While the options vary from one floor plan to the next, some of the popular choices include bay windows, finished or unfinished basements, extended owner’s suites, and decks or screened porches.

Though the newly built homes are certainly an important benefit of the community, Independence also entices potential homebuyers with many resort-style amenities and exciting social clubs. The 24,000 square-foot, award-winning clubhouse — known as Independence Hall — is clearly the center of activity within the community. It houses computer and hobby rooms, a ballroom, a conference room, a spacious lounge and a fully-equipped fitness center. The amenities continue outdoors with a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a putting green and a picnic barbecue area.

Can anyone give me a review on this community? It looks very nice and I’m very interested in retiring in DE. They do not have overnight visits in the community itself which isn’t good for me.
But any review would be helpful.
Thanks.
