Set in beautiful Ocala, Florida, Stone Creek is a mid-sized active adult community which features resort-style amenities and diverse homes. This Del Webb development was designed for residents aged 55 or better, offering social and recreational amenities which appeal to many different interests.

The community also has a great location, just 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and about 90 minutes from hot spots like Disney World, Universal Studios and the Kennedy Space Center.

Del Webb opened Stone Creek in 2006 with plans for approximately 3,800 homes. Its quiet Ocala setting is known for its ancient oak trees, rolling hills and thriving horse farms. While the area offers a small-town feel, Stone Creek includes amenities that will appeal to many active adults.

Residences

Homebuyers who are interested in Stone Creek will love the home options. Two styles of attached villas are available on a resale basis, while a wider variety of single-family homes include both resale and new construction designs. Twin Villa models offer affordable living with floor plans that are either 1,548 or 1,709 square feet.

Each of these designs features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a den and a two-car garage. The wide range of single-family homes meets the needs of nearly any homebuyer with sizes ranging from 1,133 to over 2,600 square feet. They may include one to three bedrooms, one-and-a-half to three bathrooms, and two to three-car garages.

Amenities

At the heart of the community, Reflection Bay is a social and recreational complex that spreads across 29 acres. Its Reunion Center clubhouse brings residents together with hobby and game rooms, an arts and crafts studio, a wallstreet room and a catering kitchen. It also features a 1,135-seat grand ballroom with a stage. Outdoors, Reflection Bay includes five tennis courts, eight bocce ball courts, eight pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, a softball field, a fishing lake, and more.

Stone Creek’s amenities continue at the Elan Spa and Resort Pool. This facility features a state-of-the-art fitness center with cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, an aerobics and dance studio, locker rooms, and massage services. Residents can also enjoy both indoor and outdoor swimming pool and spa areas.

Resident golfers will be particularly impressed with Stone Creek’s 18-hole championship golf course. Set on 187 acres of rolling countryside, this 7,200-yard course is designed to be challenging for golfers of any skill level. Practice facilities include a putting green and a driving range. Stone Creek Golf Club also houses the Stone Creek Grille and a golf pro shop.
