Blacklake is an age-targeted golf resort situated on 421 acres of lush California countryside in Nipomo. Blacklake in Nipomo is in a rural area, among Dark Oak woodlands and bright flowers, located within six miles of beautiful beaches. Because of the almost perfect year round weather, this is a very popular area on the California central coast. Despite the rural setting, shopping and other conveniences are still easily accessible for Blacklake residents.

Only one section of the 540 homes (about ten percent) of Blacklake is age-restricted: The Legends. There are a total of 50 homes in the age-restricted neighborhood of The Legends. Adults age 55 or better can choose if they want to live in The Legends or in other neighborhoods in Blacklake, as they all have amenities appealing to active adults - especially the magnificent 27-hole golf course.

Blacklake residents can choose from many different golf instruction options for golfers of all skill levels. The Blacklake Golf Resort driving range is over 275 yards long and has over 30 different grass and artificial teeing areas. Residents can practice on improving their scores on putting, chipping, and pitching greens. The fully stocked on-site pro shop has everything a golfer needs.

Blacklake Homes & Real Estate

Blacklake in Nipomo was developed by various builders between 1985 and 2000. Homes are available on a resale basis and include single-family homes, attached duplexes, and condos. Single-family homes are the most spacious option and range in sizes from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet. For more moderate options, attached duplexes offer between 1,200 and 2,000 square feet of living space. Cozy condos range in sizes from 1,000 to 1,800 square feet.
