i'm disappointed that i had to leave 1 star for this community where you are held hostage by the ryan and capano organizations. there are no amenities even though the clubhouse is built, the residents aren't permitted to use it. where the rwesidents have no say whatsoever on the hoa fees or on any assessed fees. joe capano holds the majority of votes and will continue to do so until the very last lot is sold. if he decides you need to pay more, you will and you have no recourse. where the hoa attorney pits neighbor against neighbor. can't even get a realtor to list the house because there are no amenities and the community is not competitive with other surrounding 55+ communities that have them in place already. our house is beautiful, both interior and exterior and we would love to sell it. if you are reading this, obviously ur interested in a 55+ community. if you don't care about not having amenities and no voice in the community hoa then this is the place for you and we are accepting any reasonable offer on our house just so we can get out.

Life in Legacy at Odessa National is not the glorious lifestyle they advertise. Although you are purchasing from Ryan Homes, you are really entering into a contract with the Joseph Capano family. Mr. Capano holds total control over the community, amenities, and decisions that effect the residents of the community. Promised a clubhouse, pool, and tennis courts 3 years ago, delays and procrastinations seem endless. The services that our HOA fees pay for (lawn care, trash collection, snow removal) are poorly delivered and aggravating. We constantly ask ourselves how and why we got involved in this community. We would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a home in Legacy at Odessa National.
