Ave Maria is a large master plan community that has been designed from the ground up to be compact, walkable and self-sustaining. Ave Maria is much more than just a development, it is an actual hometown complete with schools, stores, retail, health care facilities, public safety, EMS and libraries. Ave Maria will be home to over 11,000 residences spread across 5,000 acres. The community was built in conjunction with Ave Maria University.
The Del Webb portion of Ave Maria acts as one of six enclaves of homes within the master plan. Unlike other Del Webb communities, Del Webb Ave Maria is not age-restricted and is open to residents of all ages. However, this age-targeted community is heavily favored by the 55+ active adult crowd and contains many of the amenities and social clubs typical to any Del Webb community. However, residents of Del Webb Ave Maria also have the benefit of living in a completely self-sustaining community with access to University facilities.
Within the Del Webb portion of Ave Maria, home buyers can choose from three series of single family homes ranging from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet. In addition, carriage homes from 1,400 to 1,800 square feet offer the unique blend of town home and condo living at reasonable prices.
