We just purchased a home here last week. So far the community has been great but we're not totally moved in yet! I'm actually writing a review on Jennifer Savage, our real estate agent for this purchase, and her backup, Joe Sahrmann. They were fantastic in every way. Couldn't have been an easier process. They worked until they found what we were looking for and stayed in contact with us through the whole process, answering any and all the questions we had. Highly recommend them.

My husband and I purchased a home here in March of 2018 however, we just now started living here full-time. There are so many good things to say about this community. First and foremost is the friendliness of the residents! It is inspiring and amazing; as are they. There are so many activities that if you find yourself being bored, it's your own fault. (I'm not talking solely golf related activities either.) This community has felt like "home" to us from day one. People are energetic, happy, friendly, and everyone has a great life story! We love it so much that recently we moved my Mother-In-Law here. They have a great group of women that keep busy with activities all week long, and have included Mom like she was a life-long friend. The amount of events they have, and the care that is put into putting them on - AMAZING! You get out of life what you put into it and you can tell these residents are getting the "gold"!

Jennifer Savage did an outstanding job during the sale and was the best agent we have had for after sale follow up and assistance. She listens well and understands our needs and concerns. She provided excellent contacts for services including inspections and installations.
She is very responsive, helpful and available. She provides sound advise and is very knowledgeable.
This is the 6th home we have purchased. She is the best agent we have worked with.
We would definitely look to work with her again and highly recommend her.
We love our home and the community at Hawks Ridge. It is a great fit for what we wanted.

We moved in the first of December 2017 and could not be happier. I wrote to friends where we lived before that the people here are happy, energetic, very social, and normal. There are more activities available than one can take advantage of and everyone welcomes new residents, encouraging them to become involved. You do not have to play golf to be very happy here --- many of the residents do not golf.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to buy here.

4.0

Even though this community has gone through some ownership changes over the years, I believe today it is better than ever. The golf course is great and the collection of amenities includes a little bit of everything. My husband and I enjoy the friends we've made here and like living in this neighborhood.

1.0

If I had it to do all over again, I would not purchase in this community. The speed limit is not enforced with the result that people drive as fast as they want. The amenities are deteriorating as are the roads. No one is allowed on our golf course, even to use the walkway and even during off hours. People walk their dogs on neighbors yards. There have been no upgrades since we moved here. The hot tub was taken out and there seems to be always trouble with the pool. People in the back of the community have had structural issues suspected to be the result of the use explosives.

1.0

It's funny how no one has wrote a review. Probably because it's impossible unless you look to see how. Not everyone wanting a retirement community wants a tee time because they may be a widow looking for retirement. Amazing they discriminate against widows of all nature. Good luck thanks.
