My husband and I moved here 4 years ago, we have great neighbors, really nice homes. So far we are very happy to be here.

I moved to the Concordia Community in 2016 after an extensive search for an ACTIVE 55+ Community in NJ. My choice was an excellent one! In the past 5 years, many homes of original owners from the mid 1980s have been sold, renovated, and younger residents moved in. Pre-Covid activities are plentiful and diverse. The HOA board saw the opportunity to upgrade many amenities during Covid lockdown such as upgrading the outdoor pool and surrounding grounds, the tennis and pickleball courts were updated and look brand new! And much more. Many beautiful, mature and newer trees, bushes and landscape. Ponds from the independent golf course make viewing the landscape a pleasure. The people are friendly and give a sense of community. The value of the homes has increased and so has my investment! I love living at Concordia ! You should come look for yourself.

My husband and I moved here September 2016. Can't believe it is almost two years. We have great neighbors and friends which make it even more enjoyable. We lived in our other home for over 30 years and didn't meet has many nice people. We love our home and would recommend this community to anyone. We have had a lot of great times here and are looking forward to many more.

My husband and I recently moved into the community. So far, I am loving it. The homes are spacious and I have more closet space in my home than any other home I ever lived in. As mentioned in a few of the reviews, Concordia is an older community and people in their mid to late 50's are moving in (me being one of them). My neighbors have been extremely friendly and very informative. The community looks beautiful and the thought my husband of not having to shovel the driveway anymore makes me very happy. I look forward to a long relationship with the Community and my neighbors.

Really cute style of homes, many have a view of the golf course. Mature trees, lots of shade. Homes are a great value compared to some of the other developments nearby.

This is a response to Richard (10/14/2016. Unfortunately, everything you were told is WRONG. How do I know? I am on the Board of Trustee's.1. You are allowed to wash your car in your driveway.2. You can shovel your own driveway, but your monthly maintenance includes this service. We don't recommend you do your own driveway since it can be risky to your health.3. When a snow warning is in effect, you can put your car in your garage or take it over to the Clubhouse Parking Lot. Cars can not be on the driveway or in the street during a snow event. Security will arrange for you to be driven back to your house if you need transportation home.4. You only need approval for architectural renovations. Repairs/replacement of outside areas are the responsibility of the HOA.IN the future, please contact the HOA directly for questions about the Rules. W. Lefko, President HOA.

Concordia is a really friendly and relaxing community. The homes are affordable and the atmosphere is really casual. It has everything I could want plus I already had some friends living here who encouraged me to make the move. It's nice to be so close to friends and to be able to do fun things together every day! The outdoor pool is great in the summer, I joined a ladies golf league and I do a lot of crafts. Everything I need to close by so I never have to wander too far from home.

an older community, that for the most part, doesnt show its age. Unlike the newer communities the house groupings are really spread out. As a result, the community is very attractive. older mature trees add to it..The clubhouse is nice, and always busy with activities. Because it is a community that is 30 years old, the average resident's age is high, but there are younger people moving in... Location is convenient. Close to the Turnpike, an easy drive to Newark Airport, and approx an hour from NYC. When you consider the location, community, and comparable taxes, Concordia represents a considerable value. I have been here a few months, and I have found people are very happy with the community..

I was considering purchasing a home in this community. There are a lot of 70+ people in here but I saw signs of 50ish like my wife and I. My issue has become the HOA rules. I understand all communities need rules but Concordia has gone a tad over the top. A few examples I was told over the phone;--Not allowed to wash your car in your own driveway.-- Huh? Is Concordia paying my water bill? Is keeping a clean car a sign of a dangerous and irresponsible homeowner?--Not allowed to clear your own driveway when it snows. -- I can't even begin to make any sense of this at all.--When they issue a snow warning, you're required to move your car to a public parking lot until they plow your driveway.-- The closest public parking area to the home I was going to purchase was in the area of two miles away! My wife and I need to get to work ON TIME, not when they get around to clearing our driveway. --The house we were going to purchase had a patio that had been destroyed by roots. Even if I volunteered to replace it on my own, I have to get HOA approval. -- Wait... I'm going to replace something that THEY are supposed to be responsible for yet I need approval to do so?

If you to have absolutely no opinion in what happens in your neighborhood then this is the place for you. Be prepared to take care of your property. Do yourself a favor and move to one of the other neighborhoods around here, there are plenty of them.
