    San Tan Valley is a city located southeast of Phoenix in Central Arizona. Situated near the San Tan Mountains, the area offers serene natural parks and warm, sunny weather throughout the year.     San Tan Valley is east of the Sonoran Desert near the San Tan Mountains, and Queen Creek runs through the city. 

    San Tan Valley receives almost 300 sunny days per year, well above the national average, and little rainfall. The desert climate is hot and dry in the summer and pleasant in the winter.

    The San Tan Valley area features plenty of activities for residents to get outside and enjoy the weather. The San Tan Mountain Regional Park offers hiking and biking trails, a nature center, and a number of educational events for the community. Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, another popular outdoor destination, is home to various species of wildlife, and visitors can observe the animals while strolling along the trails available. 

    The area also boasts several farms that are popular among residents. Schnepf Farms offers a garden where visitors can pick their own produce, and the farm hosts seasonal events and tours. Queen Creek Olive Farm grows olives and produces olive oil, offers tours, and has its own restaurant. 

    San Tan Valley is a short drive away from San Tan Village, a local mall that offers plenty of brand-name shopping options. The city is just an hour away from Phoenix, providing retirees with easy access to city life when desired.
