A division of Shea Homes, Trilogy is a series of resort-style active adult communities that are designed specifically with 55+ homebuyers in mind. Found throughout the country, there are many Trilogy communities to explore, each of which offers its residents a top-notch active lifestyle thanks to the brand’s diverse range of homes and variety of social clubs and activities.

Each Trilogy community is built to offer an exciting post-retirement life both inside and outside the community, with each community offering a number of amenities and social excursions. Including walking, hiking, & biking trails, sports courts, tennis and pickleball courts, resort-style pools, and state-of-the-art fitness centers. Recently, they’ve introduced sports lounges with everything from billiards tables to golf simulators.

As of October 2018, there are currently fourteen Trilogy communities to choose from. Below, we’re taking a look at some of the most popular Trilogy communities that are out there.

Trilogy Orlando – Groveland, FL

Low $200s – Low $500s

Situated in the heart of Central Florida, Trilogy Orlando in Groveland is just 30 miles west of Orlando and offers residents an impressive lineup of home designs and amenities. Upon completion, this gated community will feature 1,499 single family residences. Featuring five collections of homes that range from 1,256 to 2,930 square feet. Regardless of the floor plan, each home is designed to maximize living space, be energy efficient, and be as low-maintenance as possible.

At the heart of the community is Magnolia House, a state-of-the-art clubhouse offering 57,000 square feet. Inside, residents enjoy an on-site restaurant, a sports lounge, an Internet cafe, as well as an artisan studio, and game room. To stay fit, residents can get their workout in at The Athletic Club. Here, residents have access to the top of the line treadmills, elliptical trainers, weight-training machines, and stationary bikes. In addition, there is also an aerobics studio, exercise classes, and a women’s only circuit training. Fitness trainers are also around to help instruct and educate residents on how to get the most out of their workout.

Trilogy at Lake Norman – Denver, NC

Just minutes away from the scenic Lake Norman, Trilogy at Lake Norman in Denver, North Carolina offers a great mix of amazing indoor and outdoor amenities. The community offers nine floor plans that are spread out across three home collections: Creekside, Ridgeline, and Shea. Plans range from 1,364 to 2,550 square feet with loft options available as well. All three collections include anything from two or three bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached two or two-and-a-half car garage space.

The centerpiece of the community is the 30,000 square-foot clubhouse, where residents will find gathering spaces, a lounge, a restaurant, and a fitness center. Outside, there’s even more to do. Residents can meet up with friends and compete on either the tennis or pickleball courts. Or, for those wanting to take things easier, a resort-style pool and patio are the perfect spots to relax on sunny days. As with other Trilogy communities, there is an extensive number of clubs to join, with examples including debate club, theater club, and a travel club.

Lake Norman is also easily accessible from the community and includes miles of walking and biking trails alongside the lake. Besides Lake Norman, residents are also in close proximity to the city of Charlotte. Filled with historic home, museums, and world-class dining options, Charlotte is a beautiful area with much to explore.

Trilogy at Vistancia – Peoria, AZ

High $200s – High $800s

Part of the Vistancia master-planned community, Trilogy at Vistancia in Peoria, Arizona is a 55+ enclave that is catered towards those seeking an upscale living. Started in 2004, Trilogy at Vistancia plans to build 2,450 single-family homes that range from 1,218 to over 3,000 square feet. Each home includes a variety of semi-customizable options so that each homebuyer has the means of making their home one that matches their lifestyle preferences

Residents of Trilogy at Vistancia have access to two clubhouses: Kiva Club and Mita Club. Kiva Club is, 35,000 square feet and offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, an aerobics and dance studio, as well as both an indoor and outdoor pool, a movie theater, computer lab, and library. There are also good ways to wind down, like The Alvea Spa, a full-service spa offering treatments for skin care, therapeutic massages, body care, nail care, tinting, and waxing. Mita Club, meanwhile, opened in 2016 and offers its own unique amenities, such as a restaurant, an outdoor bar and grill, and a culinary studio.

Trilogy at Vistancia places just as much emphasis on its clubs and activities offerings. There are a number of fun and unique clubs to check out, including a wine club, a singles club, and a coffee club. Whatever your hobbies are, there’s a good chance that Trilogy at Vistancia will have something to meet your interests.

Trilogy at Summerlin – Las Vegas, NV

Mid $400s – High $500s

Trilogy at Summerlin offers a more intimate setting than some of the other Trilogy communities. Filled with just 354 attached homes, Trilogy at Summerlin is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Home designs come from three different collections and range from 1,538 to 2,828 square feet. Each home will have its own garage and features modern design concepts with flexible spaces, as well as first-floor master suites, open-concept layouts, and premium fixtures and finishes.

The focal point of the community will be the expansive clubhouse, which includes a fitness center, an art studio, and multi-purpose rooms. There’s just as much to do outside the community as well. The Las Vegas area typically enjoys an average of 310 sunny days each year, meaning residents will never have to worry about the weather interfering in their fun. The world-famous Las Vegas strip is just under ten miles away and is filled with world-class restaurants, shows, shops, and of course, casinos. For those wanting to embrace the outdoors, Red Rock Canyon National Park is just five miles away and is the perfect destination for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
