With about 800 new home sales and 600 closings throughout the Southeast region, builder Kolter Homes had a very rewarding 2017 thanks to its lineup of active adult communities under the Cresswind brand.
Kolter Homes is known for developing active adult communities that provide retirees with maintenance-free and resort-style living. And with all of its success within the active adult housing market, could Cresswind communities be the future of active adult living?
While no one can predict the future, it’s safe to say that Cresswind active adult communities are here to stay. Thanks to Kolter’s future plans of continuing to build more Cresswind active adult communities in 2018 and beyond, retirees will be able to experience the dynamic lifestyle and home designs that they seek in retirement.
The builder plans to acquire and develop new active adult communities throughout the Southeast region, including in Sarasota and Florida’s Treasure Coast, and focus its strengths on designing communities that offer retirees a close-knit neighborhood vibe and feature amenities as the central hub of the community’s layout.
Kolter Homes currently has six age-restricted communities, including Cresswind at Lake Lanier, Cresswind Peachtree City, Cresswind at Victoria Gardens, Cresswind Charlotte, Cresswind Myrtle Beach, and Cresswind Charleston. The builder’s popular Cresswind active adult communities are spread across the states of Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Two of its top-selling communities are both located in Georgia: Cresswind at Lake Lanier holds the top spot for the past five years and their new 55+ community, Cresswind Peachtree City, sold just over 100 homes in its first six months since opening in November 2016.
Kolter Homes will also introduce its newest 55-plus community opening in April 2018, called Cresswind at PGA Village Verano, which will be a gated section within the master-planned development of PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Each Cresswind active adult community is designed to support an active lifestyle by implementing the brand’s three key pillars: nutrition, fitness, and relationships. Homebuyers touring these communities will witness the Cresswind lifestyle throughout the development, spanning from home designs to amenities to the social atmosphere.
Each community features beautiful and energy-efficient single-family homes with open layouts, flexible living spaces, and private master suites. All home designs can also be personalized with a variety of optional finishes.
In addition to elegant and customizable home designs, buyers will also have a rich lineup of stunning world-class amenities and recreational facilities that promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Cresswind active adult communities are known for having lavish clubhouses, abundant hobby and game rooms, walking and hiking trails, resort-style pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and state-of-the-art fitness centers.
Retirees will also be able to foster new relationships thanks to the vibrant social environments often found at many of the Cresswind communities. With new 55+ communities being developed, it appears that Kolter Homes doesn’t plan on slowing down any time soon, and active adults will have plenty of Cresswind active adult communities to choose from to settle down in during their Golden Years.
