One of the largest active adult communities in the state is Windsor Gardens, which hosts 2,689 attached homes and condominiums. Built between 1962 and 1973, these homes run from 720 to 2,145 square feet and are priced from the high $100s up to the high $300s. They include one-to-three bedrooms, one-to-three bathrooms, and a parking space or two-car garages. 

The community boasts a long list of amenities, including a 35,000 square-foot clubhouse. Inside, residents can stay active with the fitness center, aerobics studio, sauna, and indoor pool and spa. There are also multiple gathering spaces like the auditorium, ballroom with stage, business center, meeting room, and Blossoms Restaurant and Bar. Beyond that, the clubhouse is home to a billiards room, card room, arts and crafts studio, lapidary studio, stained glass studio, and woodworking studio.

There are three floor plans in the community, which run between 1,070 and 1,120 square feet, including one or two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one-car garages. 

Amenities include a clubhouse with exercise room and multi-purpose room. Outdoors, homeowners enjoy the pool and spa, patio, walking trails, parks, and scenic ponds. Gate N Green - Broomfield

A short drive from downtown Denver, Gate N Green has become a sought-after option when it comes to Colorado retirements. It includes 300 ranch-style homes, great for downsizing into a tight-knit community. They’re priced from the mid $200s into the mid $400s with floor plans ranging from 1,008 to 2,432 square feet. Inside you’ll find two or three bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and two-car garages.
