Smaller 55+ communities give residents a chance to know their neighbors and enjoy a slower-paced lifestyle.

While larger active adult communities often provide a resort-style experience for residents, smaller communities offer a unique charm that is difficult to find elsewhere. Homeowners are attracted to smaller developments due to their strong sense of community, private atmosphere, and welcoming environment that makes it easy to build friendships.

From charming, rural communities to resort-style developments, Central Arizona is home to a number of smaller communities that offer diverse lifestyles. Below we’re exploring the top 5 small communities to check out in the popular region.

Lone Tree - Chandler, AZ

High $200s - Mid $400s

Homebuyers have several floor plans to choose from to fit their needs. The Retreat collection of homes offers between 1,715 to 2,010 square feet and an attached two-and-a-half car garage.
