The Houston area has welcomed another Taylor Morrison active adult community called Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch. This new age-restricted neighborhood celebrated its grand opening event this month and featured live music, wine and whiskey tastings, classic cars, and delicious hors d’oeuvres to prospective buyers.
The grand opening celebration not only provided lively entertainment but it also revealed eight beautiful model homes. Active adult homebuyers had the chance to tour these new model homes and witness first hand Taylor Morrison’s quality craftsmanship. Potential buyers walked around these single-story detached homes that range in size from 1,582 to 2,878 square feet and admired their private master suites, spacious dining and living rooms, inviting entertainment areas, and optional covered outdoor patios.
Homes are priced from the mid $200s to high $300s with plenty of options for personalization so buyers can add their special touch to make the home of their dreams. This will be Taylor Morrison’s second active adult community in the Houston area after the successful Bonterra at Woodforest in Montgomery, TX. "We see this community as not only an extension of our successful 55+ Bonterra brand but also an evolution," said Jim Ellison, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison's Houston division, in a press release. "We have the best of both worlds here – all of the amenities of a master-planned community but also the secluded feel of a Bonterra neighborhood.
And much like Bonterra at Woodforest, this new Bonterra neighborhood will address the need for more lifestyle-focused, 55+ communities for Houston residents living to the west of the city." Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch is a gated neighborhood and plans to offer a 10,000 square-foot clubhouse filled with amenities exclusively for its 55+ residents. In addition to the private amenities, residents of the age-restricted section will also have access to the Cross Creek Ranch master-planned community amenities.
With superb amenities and home designs, Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch will appeal to the underserved population of retirees in the Houston area. "The Katy and Fulshear areas are very family-oriented, and just in Cross Creek Ranch, we see numerous couples moving here to be near grandchildren," said Rob Bamford, general manager of Cross Creek Ranch. "Having home designs, amenities and planned activities specifically for adults age 55 and older will be very appealing." Taylor Morrison plans to offer a total of 700 single-family homes upon completion with some being on the waterfront.
Active adult homebuyers will be able to enjoy resort-style living within a quiet and secluded setting that’s perfect for active adults in Fulshear, Texas.
