Nathan Carlisle Homes recently announced two new 55+ communities just north of Dallas, Lakes at Legacy in Prosper and ArrowBrooke in Aubrey. Both communities have a lot to offer but the developer wants to sweeten the deal for early buyers by offering up free bikes.
Nathan Carlisle Homes is partnering with bike manufacturer Villy Custom, whom you might have seen on the TV show "Shark Tank," to provide the first 25 homebuyers in each community with one of their signature custom cruisers for free as well as induction into Nathan Carlisle’s "Cruisers" social club. And if you don’t happen to be among the first 25 buyers, you still get a free bike. Subsequent buyers will get a complimentary Nathan Carlisle branded bicycle and the opportunity to purchase a second one.
The training wheels are off on this offer. Villy’s custom bikes start at $465 and rise all the way up to $899. The developer is serious about encouraging cycling as a way for its residents to get around. Bike racks will be placed throughout both Lakes at Legacy and ArrowBrooke, both of which will feature miles of trails.
"Nathan Carlisle goes above and beyond to make our active adult communities special, and this bike program will certainly do that as it creates a fun, unique and notable differentiator for Lakes at Legacy and ArrowBrooke," says Richard Dix, CEO of Nathan Carlisle Homes in a statement. "In addition to helping create a special sense of community for these new developments, this bike program will help keep residents active as they get outside and enjoy the miles of trails we have specifically designed around our water features and amenity centers."
Here are some more details about what else will be available in both communities:
Lakes at Legacy
Lakes at Legacy will include 345 single-family homes featuring 16 distinct floor plans. Homes will be priced from the $300s to the $600s and will range in size from 1,600 to 4,000 square feet.
Amenities will include a 5,000 square-foot community center that houses everything from a gathering and entertainment space to a fitness center to a resort-style pool. Nathan Carlisle has also planned an expansive outdoor amenity center surrounding a 6.5-acre lake. Around the lake will be miles of trails for biking and walking. The builders are expecting pre-sales to begin in late summer and should have model homes underway in autumn.
ArrowBrooke will offer more modestly priced homes in a quaint community setting. Plans call for 200 single-family homes priced from the low $200s to the mid $300s. Homes will range in size from 1,600 to 2,650 square feet of living space.
Amenities will include a custom-designed amenity center with multiple entertaining spaces and a resort-style swimming pool. ArrowBrooke will also include miles of walking trails that will lead to a catch and release fishing pond. Pre-sales are slated to begin early next year with model homes opening in spring of 2019.
