Celebrate in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is a newer active adult community situated in a beautiful area known for its rich history. This blend of old and new is common in Fredericksburg, where residents enjoy both the convenience of modern-day retail centers and the charm of historic shopping districts. Celebrate is within close proximity of I-95, the prime Interstate used for travel along the East Coast, and lies halfway between Richmond and Washington D.C.


Del Webb began construction on Celebrate in 2008 with plans for 1,100 single-family homes and attached villas. The community also features a spacious clubhouse, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a number of amenities and activities. Current homebuyers can choose from available new construction and resale homes.

Homebuyers who purchase new construction homes will have their choice of many upgrades and optional features, such as gourmet kitchens with 42-inch cabinets, Corian countertops and ceramic tile floors. The homes are also certified by the National Association of Homebuilders’ Green Building Program, and come with many energy-efficient elements, including Energy Star appliances. Celebrate’s thoughtfully designed villas offer affordable options for homebuyers who want smaller, low-maintenance homes.


Villas are available in two models: the Concord (1,339 square feet) and the Burlington (1,482 square feet). Each villa is single-story with two or three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, a den, and an attached one-car garage. Optional finished basements provide additional living space.

Single-Family Homes

Single-family homes in Celebrate feature a variety of models in two design series: the Classics Collection (1,399 to 2,404 square feet) and the Premiers Collection (1,664 to 2,919 square feet). Both series offer ranch-style homes with optional finished basements and some models with optional second-story lofts, yet homes in the Premiers Collection are set on larger homesites. Depending on the model, single-family homes offer two to five bedrooms, two to four bathrooms, a den, and a two-car garage.

The Riverside Lodge boasts over 30,000 square feet of amenity space and beautifully landscaped grounds.


Opened in 2011, the Riverside Lodge is a 30,800 square-foot clubhouse which provides numerous on-site amenities. The state-of-the-art fitness center includes cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, an indoor walking track, an indoor lap pool and spa, and an aerobics studio for group fitness classes. Residents can also stay in shape with an outdoor resort-style swimming pool, tennis and bocce ball courts, and a putting green.

The Riverside Lodge offers plenty of room for socializing as well. Residents can relax in the fireside library, enjoy a friendly game of billiards, make use of the community kitchen or attend an event in the multipurpose ballroom. Special-interest groups invite residents to get to know their neighbors through clubs like the New Resident Welcome Group, the Celebrate Bowling Group, the Neighborhood Watch Group and the Off to the Movies Group. There are also groups for pastimes like walking, hiking, golf and bocce ball.
