Travata is a beautiful new construction 55+ community in Irvine, CA.

The city of Irvine, California has long been a jewel of Orange County. One of the first master-planned cities in the country, 2018 will see Irvine finally add its first 55-plus community. Long-time builder CalAtlantic Homes have started construction on Travata, an age-restricted community that will include 243 attached and single-family homes. Travata will be the active adult community for those looking for modern, low-maintenance homes, resort-style amenities, warm weather, and world-class shopping and entertainment nearby.

Homeowners will have the option to choose from three separate home collections: Aldea, Castillo, and Palencia. Aldea will include attached homes in four different floor plans, Castillo will have both attached and single-family homes in four different plans, and Palencia will include five single-family home floor plans. Aldea homes will include 1,417 to 1,910 square feet of living space and include one or two bedrooms, one-and-a-half to two bathrooms, and one or two-car garages.

These homes feature large great rooms, modern kitchens, walk-in closets, covered porches and patios, and elevator access for two-story homes. Prices for Aldea homes have not been announced. Castillo has homes that run from 1,281 to 1,973 square feet and include two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two-car garages. Features inside the homes include contemporary kitchens, walk-in closets, first-floor master suites, and private backyards.

Homes in the Palencia neighborhood run from 1,848 to 2,567 square feet and include two or three bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages. These homes include features like open plan, upscale kitchens, first-floor master suites, walk-in closets, and California rooms. Besides well-crafted, modern homes, residents of Travata will have access to a slew of resort-style amenities. The community’s clubhouse – The Travata Club – will include several gathering centers for homeowners to meet with neighbors and enjoy various events, clubs, and classes.

Among these is a great room, California room, meeting rooms, office space, bar and lounge, and catering kitchen. The Travata Club will also be home to a state-of-the-art fitness center, allowing residents to stay in shape just minutes from their front door. Besides amenities inside the clubhouse, Travata will include several outdoor amenities that can be enjoyed year-round. The centerpiece will be a large saltwater pool with lap lanes and a spa. Surrounding the pool and spa will be an expansive patio with lounge chairs where homeowners can relax and enjoy the sunny weather.

Other ways to stay active at the community besides the fitness center will include bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, and a yoga lawn. Residents will know their furry friends will have a space of their own too at the community dog park. Being located in a master-planned city like Irvine provides homeowners with more than just what Travata has to offer. Homeowners will have everything they need from shopping to entertainment to dining within a few miles of their homes.
