Residents of Del Webb Lakewood Ranch have something to celebrate these days. This 55+ community, located within the 17,500-acre master-planned development of Lakewood Ranch in Manatee County, Florida, has begun construction on its new 21,000 square-foot clubhouse.
Willis A. Smith Construction is the general contractor with Hoyt Architects in charge of designing the clubhouse, which will showcase a modern craftsman-style exterior. The clubhouse will be completed by this fall. Del Webb Lakewood Ranch’s clubhouse will feature resort-style amenities as well as plenty of social spaces including a fitness center, movement studio for group fitness classes, catering kitchen, Wi-Fi café, lakefront restaurant, outdoor heated pool and spa, multiple sports courts, activity rooms, arts and crafts studio, and a library. In addition to the new clubhouse, residents also have access to a lifestyle director who will help plan and organize activities and events for the entire community. Del Webb Lakewood Ranch, which opened in 2015, will host 1,300 homes upon completion. Homes are priced from the mid $200s to low $500s.
