Cresswind Charlotte's proximity to Uptown, Charlotte has made it a popular choice among active adults looking to live in North Carolina.

Kolter Homes recently announced some exciting news. Not only has 55+ community Cresswind Charlotte sold more than 120 homes since its opening in June 2017. On top of that, the southeastern U.S.-based company has just finished its next phase with 53 more new home sites now for sale, according to Builder Online.

Located 13 miles east of Charlotte, North Carolina, the Cresswind Charlotte community features craftsman-style homes starting in the mid $200s. These new one-level floorplans have large master baths, open gourmet kitchens, and optional second-floor bonus rooms.

Cresswind Charlotte’s project director, Mike McClendon, says he’s thrilled with the enthusiasm for the community and looks forward to continued enthusiasm. “Our proximity to Uptown, resort-caliber amenities, and stunning homes make Cresswind the top place to live in Charlotte for today’s modern active adult."

Also under construction is an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse that will feature indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball and bocce ball courts, an event lawn, and a fitness center. It’s expected to open in Spring 2019.

“Our new clubhouse will embody the pillars of the Cresswind lifestyle, which is focused on fitness, nutrition, and relationships,” says McClendon. “We’ll be offering an unparalleled list of amenities and a full calendar of social programs, all in our  residents’ backyards.”
