Residents at Del Webb eTown, a 55+ community in Jacksonville, have something to look forward to. The new, 13,000-square-foot amenity center is officially under construction and will be ready in the fall of 2021.
In a statement, Clint Ball, North Florida Division President of Del Webb’s parent company PulteGroup, said residents would have the opportunity to enjoy the intimacy of a private complex that caters to their social and wellness interests. “We have created inviting indoor and outdoor areas for homeowners to meet up with old friends and mingle with new ones,” he said.
Del Webb eTown Amenity Center Preview
The state-of-the-art amenity center will start at The Gallery, which is a multi-building clubhouse designed to allow residents to embrace a social and active lifestyle. There will be meeting and event rooms which can host club meetings, social functions, and special events. Also, a tavern will encourage neighbors to gather for drinks and food and happy hour functions.
Del Webb eTown residents will have access to a separate fitness center with innovative and modern TechnoGym equipment. Outside of The Gallery, this amenity complex will include a large swimming pool with plenty of patio space and seating. There’s an event lawn planned for live music and events, and a community garden space will be set up for anyone wanting to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers. There will also be courts for croquet, bocce, pickleball, and tennis.
Current and future residents can follow the progress of construction by taking a virtual tour of The Gallery and even checking out the live webcast that shows work is underway.
While construction continues, residents can take advantage of existing amenities at The Lifestyle House. This original amenity center includes an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and plenty of space for social gatherings and events. There’s a full-time Lifestyle Director on-site, helping new residents acclimate to their home and the surrounding opportunities.
