Buyers seeking new construction homes for sale in Lakewood Ranch, Florida can now pick their favorite model in the Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch community just outside Sarasota on the Gulf Coast. Lakewood Ranch is one of the most popular master-planned communities in the country, offering resort-style amenities as well as exquisitely constructed homes from some of the best local builders. 

Attached villas and single-family homes are now selling, and potential residents can tour model homes virtually or in-person with an appointment.

Lakewood Ranch Homes for Sale

Buyers considering Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch have a number of options. Taylor Morrison is designing a total of 1,400 homes in this active lifestyle community. Twelve models are available, and tours online or in-person will show prospective residents what they can expect in their own finished new construction home. 

Attached homes are twin villas, and the Ibis model has 1,533 square feet with two bedrooms, a den, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The one-story low-maintenance floor plan has an open concept, with a spacious owner’s suite in the back of the home. There’s private outdoor patio space, which can be screened, and the attached homes begin in the high $200s.

Single-family homes are available in 11 models, named for elegant places and lifestyles. They offer between 1,689 and 3,502 square feet, and their layouts are unique. There are two to five bedrooms and two to five bathrooms with an attached two- or three-car garage. 

All homes have an extra flex space, which can be used as a den, office, or an additional bedroom. Most homes are on a single level, although the Beacon and Humboldt models have an optional second floor. Buyers can expect to find customized, gourmet kitchens, large windows inviting natural light, and plenty of gathering and outdoor space.

Single-family homes range in price from the low $300s to the low $900s.

Esplanade at Azario Amenities

During the tour, potential buyers can learn more about the long list of planned resort-style amenities currently under construction. There will be ample opportunities to stay fit and healthy and relax with neighbors and friends. An on-site lifestyle manager will help residents engage with each other and the entire community through social events, classes, clubs, and activities.

The amenity campus will include a clubhouse and meeting spaces as well as a fitness center and a restaurant. Residents will have a multipurpose room available for events and gatherings. There’s also a golf club planned, which will accompany the 18-hole golf course that’s set to include an aqua range and other practice facilities. 

A large, resort-style pool will offer opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the warm Florida weather. Plenty of seating, a patio bar, and even shade will be available. Fitness stations will be located around the community, offering residents a chance to get their workouts completed outdoors. There’s also pickleball planned as well as tennis courts and parks.

Living in Lakewood Ranch 

Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch is an active lifestyle community without age restrictions. Within the larger Lakewood Ranch community, there are dozens of neighborhoods, schools, a retail center, and lots of local conveniences such as banks, convenience stores, dry cleaners, and a post office. The area is private and largely residential, but it’s also close to cities like Sarasota and Bradenton. Interstate 75 is just minutes away, making travel north to Tampa or south to Naples easy.

Beaches are within a half-an-hour drive. Some of the most popular local spots include Siesta Key, Indian Beach, and Lido Key. There’s plenty of shopping to do as well, and Main Street at Lakewood Ranch provides opportunities for eating at great restaurants, stopping for a drink or a cup of coffee, and visiting more than 200 retail stores. The Mall at University Town Center and Ellenton Premium Outlets are also a short drive from the community.

The private golf course within the community will be the natural first stop for residents looking at tee times, and there are additional courses within the Lakewood Ranch development. Homeowners can enjoy the links at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch, and Esplanade Golf and Country Club at Lakewood Ranch. Lakewood National Golf Club is nearby as well as Bradenton courses like The River Club and Royal Lakes Golf Course.

Anyone who appreciates nature and wildlife will be comfortable at Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch. Plenty of parks and trails are nearby, providing for long hikes, short walks, and bike rides at any pace.
