Over the past 10 years Charlotte, North Carolina has been consistently growing in size and population with no signs of stopping any time soon. The city is full of cultural amenities, shopping and dining destinations, and plenty of exciting events taking place throughout the year. Yet, for all Charlotte has to offer its residents, it also comes with several aspects that could be considered nuisances like heavy traffic, higher housing prices, and heftier tax rates.
Fortunately, there are several places surrounding Charlotte that offer residents the opportunity to live a short distance from the city without being directly in the city. One of those areas to consider is Huntersville, a vibrant city full of things to do as well as the state’s largest man-made lake, Lake Norman. It’s also home to several active adult communities.
