Terramor, a gated master-planned development in Riverside County, California, recently celebrated the grand opening of its first 55+ neighborhood, which is called Cortina.
Cortina, which is the first 55+ neighborhood being built by Del Webb in Terramor, will offer active adult homebuyers a variety of floor plans that range in size from 1,999 to 2,172 square feet and have two to four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.
Del Webb’s second age-restricted neighborhood, Ardena, is set to open next month and will also offer modern floor plans ranging in size from 1,579 to 1,865 square feet and have two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. In addition to Del Webb, KB Home is also currently building within the first phase in Terramor and will offer two all-ages neighborhoods, called Sorrel and Caraway.
These communities will have a total of 170 two-story homes ranging in size from about 2,200 to 2,700 square feet. These communities are expected to open this summer. CalAtlantic Homes is also in the process of building a 55+ neighborhood within Terramor called Sterling that will consist if 105 homes and is expected to open this winter. Sterling will offer four one and two-story home designs ranging in size from approximately 2,200 to 2,500 square feet. Developer Foremost Companies is the master developer of Terramor.
Upon completion, the development will host a total of 1,443 single-family homes spread throughout 16 distinct neighborhoods. Terramor will provide several amenities for all residents of the development, including The Veranda, which will offer a fitness center, an outdoor pool, toddler pool with a beach entrance, outdoor BBQ areas, and entertaining areas.
The Terrace Club, which is a six-acre recreational area that consists of a 20,000 square-foot clubhouse, will be exclusively for the 55+residents. In addition to these amenities, the development will also offer over five miles of trails that connect to a broader trail system, numerous outdoor parks, large and small dog parks, community garden, sports fields, basketball court, tennis courts, and a playground.
