First Phase Now Open – The Village of Fenney

The Villages’ newest neighborhood – The Village of Fenney – is now open and selling its first phase of development. The Village of Fenney will consist of 3,000 homes upon completion and features a variety of floor plans and homesites with water or nature views as well as a central location near several recreational centers and trails.

Home Designs

Active adult buyers can choose from home designs found within the Designer, Cottage, and Patio Villas series. Homes typically range in size from about 1,100 square feet and go up to over 3,000 square feet with pricing from the mid $100s to high $400s.

Some of the newest floor plans introduced to the Designer Series include Redwood (2,163 square feet), Woodside (2,270 square feet), Indigo (1,887 square feet), and Mossy Oak (1,928 square feet).

These homes have three or four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages with golf cart parking. Some of the floor plans in the Patio Villas series also have newly added features like large kitchen islands.

In addition to new home designs, The Village of Fenney also has its own amenity complex called Spanish Moss Recreation Center. It has many of the active outdoor amenities like a sports pool and multiple courts for pickleball, bocce ball, and shuffleboard. All of the amenities are situated within a park-like setting and woven together by meandering trails, nature preserves, grand oaks, parks, tree-lined walking paths, and springs.

A second amenity center for The Village of Fenney called Fenney Recreation Center, is also available to residents. It has a resort-style pool with beach entry, activity rooms, and the Fenney Bar & Grill.

Well underway are the community’s two nine-hole executive golf courses, which are called Gray Fox and Red Fox that will border the nature preserve. Both golf courses will offer challenging, yet fair play among the community’s natural obstacles. The courses are expected to open this fall.
