The first residents of Metro Atlanta’s newest active adult community, Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes, are officially moving into their homes. The up-and-coming neighborhood located in Hoschton, GA is the latest addition to the expansive master-planned community of Twin Lakes, built by Kolter Homes. It’s the trusted builder’s third active adult community in the state.
Once completed, the gated and age-restricted Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes will feature 1,300 single-family homes with more than a dozen floor plans and prices that range from the mid $200s to the high $300s. Final plans for the development boast an impressive list of amenities—including the largest pickleball complex in the Southeast—and a plethora of organized social events, classes, and activities for residents to take part in throughout the year.
Spread over more than 940 acres, the Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes development, will boast a total of 1,300 single-family, new construction homes once completed. There are four home collections within the community that offer a total of 15 distinct floor plans for potential buyers to consider. Most homes offer single-level living with ranch-style designs and versatile layouts that can be customized to fit both a buyer’s lifestyle and budget.
Available floor plans range from 1,397 to 2,815 square feet and have between two to four bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and attached two- or three-car garages. Several layouts also include den areas. Some design elements that can be found in Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes’ new construction homes include granite counters, stainless steel appliances, breakfast nooks, oversized showers, and generously-sized walk-in closets. Kolter Homes’ final plans for the development feature a wide variety of resort-style amenities that include a private clubhouse, a bar, a demonstration kitchen, billiards, an art and crafts studio with a kiln, and a ballroom. There will also be plenty of amenities centered around physical fitness that will help residents reach or maintain their health goals like an indoor saltwater pool and spa, a fitness center, a yoga studio, and an aerobics and dance studio.
Additionally, there will be several outdoor amenities that will help keep everyone active, including miles of walking and biking trails spread throughout the expansive property, two lakes where homeowners can spend the day outdoors fishing or kayaking, and dozens of athletic courts that will allow neighbors to challenge each other to all sorts of games ranging from tennis to bocce ball. One of the community’s most distinctive features will be the Pickleball Center that will host to over 30 courts, making it one of the largest pickleball complexes in the entire Southeast. Future plans for the Twin Lakes master-planned community include retail and dining spaces, which will only add more perks to owning a home within Cresswind Georgia at Twin Lakes.
