The charming small town of Clayton in North Carolina is getting a new age-restricted pocket neighborhood that is sure to attract retirees from across the country. Raleigh, NC-based developer TIMU Group will open its first active adult community in the area called The Walk at East Village. The builder will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1pm to 3:30pm. Prospective buyers can attend this special event and experience the active adult lifestyle that will be offered in this quaint 55+ community.
The grand opening event will include model tours, live music, authentic Carolina barbecue, a variety of beverages, raffles, and outdoor games. The Walk at East Village will consist of 300 single-family homes built within pocket neighborhoods. All homes are situated in small clusters of eight to twelve homes that face a private, shared courtyard or garden with connecting sidewalks, which provide a welcoming and intimate setting.
These homes will feature a front porch that faces communal areas, which allows neighbors to socialize and mingle with each other. Homes are priced from the low $300s and range in size from 1,668 to 3,044 square feet. These residences have three or four bedrooms, two-and-a-half or three bathrooms, and rear-loading two-car garages.
This 55+ community will also feature well-appointed amenities including an 11,000 square-foot clubhouse that will host a card room, billiards, fitness center, ballroom, outdoor pool, bocce ball and pickleball courts, a community garden, dog park, and walking and biking trails.
