Hill Country Retreat offers multiple floor plans and amenities for all active adult lifestyles.

Hill Country Retreat is an active adult community by Del Webb, located in San Antonio, Texas. Construction began in 2006, and when the gated, 55+ community is completed it will be home to nearly 2,000 luxurious single-family homes.

All of the brick homes are single-story, low-maintenance residences in three different styles that range from 1,240 to 2,681 square feet in size. Hill Country Retreat offers nine different floor plans with available upgrades, color selections, elevations, and amenities. Most have two bedrooms and two baths. The three-bedroom models come with two or three-and-a-half baths. All homes have open floor plans and attached two-car garages.

The 28,000-square-foot clubhouse is the focal point of the lavish community. For those who want to stay fit, the clubhouse offers a large, high-end fitness center that includes an aerobics studio, indoor pool with lap lanes, and three swimming areas. An indoor walking track located on the second level surrounds the pool.

The clubhouse features a flexible ballroom that is used for potluck dinners, the theatre group, movie nights, and community parties. Several hobby and game rooms provide artists and crafters with the space and equipment to practice their skills. Billiards, a computer room, and library are also part of the clubhouse.

Outdoor recreational activities at Hill Country Retreat offer a resort-style pool, tennis and bocce ball courts, and walking and biking trails. The trails throughout the community provide attractive, natural scenery, and many lead to pristine lakes in the area. Fishing, boating, and nature enthusiasts have easy access to the nearby Government Canyon State Park and OP Schanbel Park. Six golf courses surround the active community for avid golfers.

Downtown San Antonio is just a twenty-minute drive from Hill Country Retreat and has many popular attractions, including major sports teams. The city is home to the Museum of Art and the McNay Art Museum. Broadway shows, concerts, and performances of the San Antonio Symphony are held at the Historic Majestic Theatre. In addition to the two major theme parks, active adults will also find that the San Antonio Zoo makes a great day trip.
