Plantation Oaks of Ormond Beach is a new 55+ community of manufactured homes coming to Ormond Beach, Florida in 2017. It will be located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Interstate 95. Developers are currently building the community’s first phase of 427 lots.
The homeowners’ association will maintain all lawns and amenities in the community. Homes will have two or three bedrooms and range in size from approximately 1,200 to 2,400 square feet. Some of the features include two-car garages, front porches, custom cabinets, walk-in closets, custom tile, lighting, and floor coverings. Prices for the manufactured homes will start in the low $100s and models will be completed by the fall. The first homes will be available for occupancy in January of 2018.
Construction of the clubhouse will start by the end of June and will feature a community center, card room, exercise room, indoor pool, an activities center, café, and catering kitchen. Outdoors, there will be tennis, pickleball and shuffleboard courts as well as walking and biking trails and an Olympic-sized outdoor pool. The community will also be golf-cart friendly and cover more than 1,000 acres. The community will host 1,577 homes upon completion.
