Cresswind Charlotte, NC

This new 55+ community is being built by Kolter Homes and will consist of 850 beautiful single-family homes. Cresswind Charlotte will span across 370 acres of scenic woodlands and offer active adults resort-style amenities, outdoor recreational facilities, and single-level detached homes. Plans call for an 18,000 square-foot clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pools, multiple sports courts, an event lawn, fitness center, and miles of meandering walking trails. The community will also have a full-time activities director who will organize activities and events for all residents to enjoy.

Encore at Eden HallMatthews, NC

Encore at Eden Hall is a new 55+ community by David Weekley Homes that will host just 90 attached homes upon completion. This active adult community features innovative and energy-efficient home designs with low-maintenance exteriors. These attached homes offer 1,722 to 2,383 square feet of living space and have two or three bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.

Encore at Eden Hall will also provide a quiet and tranquil environment thanks to the community’s outdoor amenities, which include a gazebo overlooking a private lake, gardens, a fire pit, trails, and parks and natural spaces.

CorbintonHillsborough, NC

Construction of Corbinton began in 2016 by Blue Heel Homes and the community will consist of just 70 homes upon completion. This age-restricted community will offer elegant and quality built homes within a close-knit setting. Corbinton’s proposed clubhouse will host a rich lineup of amenities that will keep residents socially active and physically fit.

Some of the amenities will include a community center, exercise room, multi-purpose room, community garden, dog park, scenic pond, walking and biking trails, and parks and natural space. Residents will also love Corbinton’s prime location within the beautiful and historic town of Hillsborough, North Carolina. The charming area provides residents with easy access to daily conveniences and local attractions.

The Walk at East VillageClayton, NC

The Walk at East Village is a new 55+ community in Clayton, NC that will consist of 300 single-family homes. This active adult community will feature beautiful pocket neighborhoods made up of small clusters of low-maintenance homes separated by shared open green spaces. Single-family homes range in size from 1,668 to 3,044 square feet and have three or four bedrooms, two-and-a-half or three bathrooms, and attached two-car garages.

Proposed amenities include an 11,000 square-foot clubhouse dubbed The Big House, which will be the central gathering place for all residents of the community. Some of the amenities will include a ballroom, billiards, arts and crafts studio, card room, outdoor pool and patio, bocce and pickleball courts, a dog park, and a community garden.

Encore at Briar ChapelChapel Hill, NC

This active adult community is located within the master-planned community of Briar Chapel and features top-notch homes built by David Weekley Homes. The community will host just 185 single-family homes, making it a charming and intimate setting for retirees. Buyers can choose from two design collections that range in size from 2,109 to 2,244 square feet and feature premium finishes, open layouts, outdoor living areas, and plenty of options for customization.

In addition to quality built homes, residents will also have access to world-class amenities at their private 3,100 square-foot clubhouse as well as access to amenities found within the master-planned development.

Trilogy Lake NormanDenver, NC

Shea Homes’ newest 55-plus community in Denver, North Carolina is Trilogy Lake Norman. This active adult community will host 1,650 single-family homes at completion. Shea Homes offers buyers several floor plans to choose from that feature spacious layouts, elegant master suites, gourmet kitchens, and luxurious fixtures.

Proposed world-class amenities include a 25,000 square-foot clubhouse, a 3,000 square-foot field house, restaurant, and numerous outdoor recreational facilities like tennis and pickleball courts, an outdoor pool, and event lawn. An on-site activities director will also be available in Trilogy Lake Norman to help organize fun activities and events that will keep residents socially engaged and physically active throughout the year.

Del Webb Wilmington, NC

Del Webb’s first active adult community in Wilmington will provide retirees with an active and social lifestyle as well as offer a prime location in Coastal North Carolina. This age-restricted community will be situated within the RiverLights master-planned community and will host just 547 single-family homes.

Del Webb Wilmington will offer buyers three design collections with homes that range in size from 1,262 to 2,565 square feet. These innovative floor plans feature spacious master suites, open layouts, inviting gathering and living areas, flex spaces, and private patios.

Plans call for a 15,000 square-foot clubhouse that will offer a rich lineup of indoor and outdoor amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, sports courts, event lawn, and walking trails. In addition to the private amenities, residents will also have access to the master-planned amenities found at RiverLights.
