Rendering of the new amenity center at Del Webb Wilmington set to open May 19th.

Del Webb’s first age-restricted community in Wilmington will host a grand opening event for its new amenity center on Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The celebration will include food, refreshments, and music for residents and guests to enjoy.

Del Webb Wilmington opened in 2016 and is part of the RiverLights master-planned development. The 547-home active adult community will offer residents an exclusive 15,000 square-foot clubhouse that is sure to be the heart of the community. The new clubhouse features an impressive lineup of indoor and outdoor resort-style amenities that promote fitness and friendships.

Amenities inside the clubhouse include a well-equipped fitness center, indoor heated pool, gathering rooms, multi-purpose room, lounge, and arts and crafts room. Outdoors, residents have a swimming pool and spa as well as patios and terraces, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day. Neighbors can challenge each other at the community’s multiple sports courts to play bocce, pickleball, and tennis. Residents are also surrounded with plenty of community parks and green spaces, an event lawn, and miles of walking and biking trails that allow them to enjoy the Coastal North Carolina climate.

In addition to these private amenities found within the 55+ section, homeowners also have access to all of the amenities found in the RiverLights master-planned development. Del Webb Wilmington’s vibrant active and social lifestyle is sure to attract retirees from across the country.
