Famous active adult builder Del Webb is planning to build gorgeous homes in Estero.

Del Webb is getting ready to launch an exciting new 55+ active adult community in the village of Estero on Florida's desirable Gulf Coast. Called Tidewater by Del Webb, it will be located midway between Fort Myers and Naples and within driving distance of Sanibel Island. The property will offer 380 residences upon completion, which includes both single-family homes and attached villas.

Floor Plans and Home-Styles

Several floor plans are in the works, such as the Classic and Estates series for detached single-family homes, and the Villa series for attached styles. Homes will also offer the latest in energy-efficient features, modern fixtures and other appointments that are popular among homebuyers today.

Clubhouse

Details are subject to change, but currently the developer is planning a resort-style clubhouse complete with a catering kitchen and several activity rooms that will be perfectly tailored for community clubs and events. To support a healthy and active lifestyle, the clubhouse will also contain a state-of-the-art fitness center and workout studio.

Del Webb will add all of its signature amenities outdoors as well, including courts for pickleball, tennis and bocce ball. Community members will appreciate an on-site dog park where their four-footed pals can hang out and socialize, or just being able to stay active with walking and biking trails or taking a swim in a resort-style pool surrounded by a large patio.

For entertaining and relaxation, residents will also be able to sidle up to a barefoot bar or invite friends, neighbors and family for a picnic in the barbecue area.

Local Attractions

Estero is a former citrus-growing community that's now known for being the home of Florida Gulf Coast University along with several nature parks and preserves, and beautiful beachfront. The Mound Key Archaeological State Park is one such attraction and only accessible by boat. It's believed to have been a ceremonial site for the Calusa tribe.

Other nearby attractions include Barefoot Beach, the Estero River and Bay, and the Germain Arena, which hosts hockey, football and wrestling. Residents will also find great shopping and dining around town, along with access to I-75 and more far flung state destinations.

For active adults aged 55 and better who've been looking for a cutting-edge gated community on Florida's Gulf Coast, Tidewater by Del Webb will feature well-appointed homes plus world-class amenities in the heart of Lee County.
