Active adults who want to live in the Richmond area now have the opportunity to buy new homes in HHHunt Homes community of Mosaic at West Creek. Last year, the builder announced they would be offering 471 homes to adults 55 and over in the east Richmond suburb of Goochland.
The low maintenance community offers easy access to amenities like shopping and dining, while still being in a peaceful area with many recreation opportunities. The first homes and floor plans will be available in the fall of 2019.
The Richmond area is home to 40 active adult communities with varying sizes, housing styles, and amenities. For Central Virginia residents, the city offers world-class museums, culture, and easy access to some of the Mid-Atlantic’s best outdoor opportunities.
HHHunt is capitalizing on the popularity of Richmond with this latest community. An award-winning builder, HHHunt has created communities across Virginia. Mosaic at West Creek will use their knowledge of building quality homes, combined with floor plans suited to adults over 55 and the active lifestyle many retirees have come to expect.
While HHHunt has not announced the specific floor plans yet, Mosaic will include single-family and attached townhomes. The spaces will be designed for active adults, with open floor plans. In other HHHunt communities, homes offer modern and luxury amenities and options for these new, custom homes. Homes at Mosaic will be offered in the mid $300s.
Like in many of HHHunt developments, the collection of homes are designed to be a community. They hope that the layout and common spaces will encourage gathering between neighbors. They also anticipate having planned activities for the community. The on-site amenities will include a clubhouse with multi-purpose rooms and an outdoor pool and patio.
While suburban and only 25 minutes from Richmond, Mosaic at West Creek is also surrounded by greenspace. HHHunt will take advantage of this rural feel by including 8 miles of biking and walking trails in the community, which is surrounded by greenspaces, creeks, and a lake.
Residents will also be just minutes from the Kinloch Golf Club, and a short drive from the Hermitage Country Club and Sycamore Creek Golf Course. Nearby, active adults can also enjoy Tuckahoe Creek Park, Powhatan State Park, and the James River Heritage Trail.
Nearby, residents will find the Short Pump Town Center Mall and West Broad Marketplace, which offer shopping and dining options. Included in this area are a Whole Foods Market, major retail stores, and big box stores. Residents can also enjoy a movie at the Regal Cinemas, and a variety of dining options from fast food, fast casual, and sit-down restaurants.
HHHunt believes that this community will offer the perfect blend of peaceful life surrounded by nature and convenience to the Richmond area.
