Ovation at Meridian will be a brand new 55+ community in Queen Creek, AZ.

Ovation at Meridian is on its way to changing the way people think about retirement in Queen Creek, Arizona. William Lyon Homes broke ground on this 55+ community last November, promising an enticing atmosphere with creatively landscaped open spaces, a beautiful recreation center, and uniquely designed single-story homes. The development will add 780 homes to the master-planned community Meridian, which embraces the history of Queen Creek with an emphasis on natural space.

Residences

Homebuyers will have eleven floor plans to consider, ranging from 1,462 to 2,499 square feet. Homes will have a minimum of two bedrooms, a den, and two bathrooms, with options for up to four bedrooms and an extra half-bath. Attached garages will come standard with room for two cars and a three-car size available in the largest model collection. Designs will utilize plenty of natural light and include smart-home technology. The first model homes are expected to be ready toward the end of this year.

Amenities

Seven-and-a-half acres of Ovation at Meridian will be dedicated to the community’s recreational needs, with indoor and outdoor amenities provided within and around a 13,500 square-foot clubhouse. This clubhouse will include banquet facilities for events and parties as well as a craft room for exploring the arts and an exercise room with a yoga studio for everyday fitness.

Outside, a patio will overlook a pool and spa. After working up an appetite with a swim, residents will be able to warm up by a fire pit and enjoy some grilled food hot off the BBQ under the shaded pavilion. Courts for bocce, pickleball, and tennis will also be available in addition to an event lawn, dog park, and miles of trails for walking or biking.

Residents of the active adult community will also be able to enjoy the 229 acres of outdoor spaces found within the larger master-planned community of Meridian. Keeping in step with Queen Creek’s affinity for steeds, Meridian offers an equestrian arena with trails for horseback riding. There is also an outdoor movie ramada where homeowners gather for showings in the park. Meridian’s eleven parks are interconnected, encouraging residents to explore everything that the community has to offer.

Lifestyle

William Lyon Homes design their 55+ Ovation communities to cultivate social connection along with personal freedom. Clubs and activities develop organically according to residents’ preferences and the recreational amenities that bring them together. Homes utilize intimate, single-story plans to create a low-maintenance lifestyle that maximizes time for wellness, leisure, and hobbies.

Location

The developer also takes great care to select fantastic locations for their Ovation brand that offer all the conveniences, services, and entertainment necessary for a fully realized retirement. Ovation at Meridian is no exception, with a location on the eastern edge of Queen Creek near grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, shopping centers, and Banner Ironwood Medical Center.

Farther out, residents have all sorts of urban attractions and natural wonders to explore in the greater Phoenix area, ensuring that active adults will be eager to check out Ovation at Meridian later this year.
