The Boston area is getting a new active adult community in the form of Del Webb Chauncy Lake, an upcoming 55+ condominium community in Westborough, Massachusetts. Built by Del Webb, the community will be comprised of 14 buildings that have 700 single-level condo units, all of which come with private balconies.
Overlooking the scenic Chauncy Lake, the community will come filled with several high-end amenities, including a swimming pool, walking and biking trails, and more. Home prices have yet to be announced, be sure to check 55places.com over the next few months for updates.

As mentioned, Del Webb Chauncy Lake will be made up of 700 condos, all of which range from 945 to 1,496 square feet. Each unit features one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, and access to underground parking garages. Many of the homes come complete with king-sized bedrooms, ensuite master bathrooms, and large walk-in closets.
Additional features include modern maple kitchen cabinetry, hardwood floors, and private balconies. Homebuyers will be able to choose from seven available floor plans. Each of the 14 buildings includes 50 units and elevator access. Residents will be able to use secured building access to enter the community.
In terms of amenities, Del Webb Chauncy Lake will include the 14,000 square-foot Lakeside Clubhouse. Inside, residents will find a fitness center, a library, and a ballroom. The ballroom will be utilized for a number of events throughout the year, including private events and parties.
The atmosphere of the clubhouse will be designed to be inviting for all. Residents can come in and chat with their neighbors, watch some television with some friends, or start a game of cards.
Outside the community, residents will find even more to explore. On summer days, residents can sit back and relax at the swimming pool or can grab a bite to eat with some friends at the barbecue area. If up for the challenge, homeowners can also gather their friends and compete in a game of tennis, bocce, or pickleball. Or, if looking for a more relaxing activity, there are a number of walking and biking trails to find, allowing for some scenic views of the adjoining lake and landscaped courtyard of over 400 acres of open space.

Additionally, thanks to its lock-and-leave lifestyle, residents are able to travel as much as they want to, whether that means visiting family and friends or taking a destination vacation across the world.
The community also comes with an on-site lifestyle director, who is happy to help residents make the most of their time in the community by helping to suggest new clubs and activities. So far, planned activities include a book club, crafts club, exercise classes, and scheduled outings to the surrounding area.
Located in Westborough, Massachusetts, Del Webb Chauncy Lake is just two miles from downtown Westborough and about 35 miles west of downtown Boston, meaning fun daytime excursions are easily doable. Popular nearby restaurants include Harry's Restaurant, A.J. Tomaiolo’s, and Ted’s Montana Grill. For entertainment, they’ll have Regal Cinemas Westborough 12 for movies or Apex Entertainment, a massive amusement center that is especially popular with local residents of the area.
