New Public Golf Course Opens at Kissing Tree in San Marcos, TX

Kissing Tree has marked a major milestone in the opening of the Kissing Tree Golf Club.

Texas’ first public, 18-hole golf course in six years recently opened in San Marcos. Kissing Tree Golf Club offers golfers of all levels spectacular playing conditions all year long. From practice areas to splendid views to a clubhouse with restaurant, the Kissing Tree Golf Club will be a stable for residents in the community.

Active adults can enjoy the best of Texas Hill Country golf on this 6,600-yard, par-72 golf course. Designed by Gary Stephenson, the course captures the land’s natural character and integrates the landscape’s slopes and contours into the fairways and greens. Golfers who desire to hone their game can use a short game practice facility, an extensive practice range, and a practice putting green. The tee boxes, fairways, and rough include Tifway 419 Bermudagrass, while greens feature TifEagle Bermuda grass.

Kissing Tree Golf Club is just one of the many spectacular amenities that come with living in Kissing Tree, an age-restricted community in San Marcos.
