Plans are underway to acquire more land in the Lake Nona master-planned community so PulteGroup can build a second phase in Del Webb Sunbridge, a popular 55+ community outside of Orlando in St. Cloud, Florida.
With a huge demand for new-construction housing and homes short in supply, builders have been eager to expand current projects and develop new ones. The southeast Orlando suburbs are especially attractive to active adults looking for real estate.
Phase Two at Del Webb Sunbridge
The second phase of Del Webb Sunbridge will cover 230 acres and include 452 single-family new construction homes. According to Clint Ball, Pulte’s North Florida division president, construction will begin on phase two later in 2021. Initial plans for the community included three phases, and currently, prices are starting at around $291,000. Construction on the community began in 2019.
First Phase and Amenity Center
The first phase at Del Webb Sunbridge is under construction, and recently builders broke ground on The Hammock Club, which will be the center of social activities for residents. It'll include a 27,000-square-foot clubhouse and a restaurant. A private health and wellness building is also planned, and residents will have access to a fitness center, movement studio, and demonstration kitchen. Homeowners will have a ballroom and several multipurpose rooms at The Hammock Club, and there will also be an arts and crafts center.
For residents who prefer to spend as much time outside as possible, there are plenty of additional amenities in this community. A zero-entry resort-style pool with a spacious patio will be available as well as pickleball courts, tennis courts, and cornhole courts. Al fresco entertainment will be enjoyed in the outdoor amphitheater and around the fire pits. Event lawns are planned and the entire community will have a number of well-landscaped walking and biking trails.
