PulteGroup has just purchased a former golf course site for $8.3 million in order to build 130 homes for its new active adult community, which will be called Boca Flores. The active adult community, which consists of just 40 acres, will be developed inside the Boca Lago Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida.
Boca Flores will be a gated active adult community located off Lyons Road and south of Glades Road. It will include one- and two-story homes that range in size from about 1,542 to 2,399 square feet with pricing for the homes starting in the high $300s. The builder plans to include elevators as a standard feature for the two-story homes.
Pulte plans to offer social membership options from Boca Lago Country Club to residents of Boca Flores. Some of the amenities include a swimming pool, cabana, pickleball court, and walking trails. Sales at Boca Flores will begin in the summer of this year with model homes opening early next year. “Boca Flores is a response to the tremendous demand for active adult homes in close proximity to beaches, world-class dining and shopping,” Brent Baker, Pulte’s Southeast Florida division president, said in a prepared statement.
