Construction has officially begun on Regency at Avenir, a gated 55+ community in Palm Beach Gardens. Part of Phase I, this is one of the first communities within the sustainable master-planned community of Avenir to break ground. Toll Brothers expects to complete 469 single-family homes within the active adult neighborhood. The entire Avenir development will include 3,900 homes and cover 4,783 acres. Builders envision a walkable area with a strong sense of community.
Clubhouse Construction and Amenities
Within the Avenir community, it’s easy to see walking and biking paths taking shape as well as golf cart-friendly streets. There’s expected to be a working farm and more than 2,400 acres dedicated to natural areas and recreational space.
In the Regency at Avenir community, the clubhouse is already under construction. It’s expected to include a fitness center, a wellness center, and a yoga studio. There’s also a cafe planned as well as an art room, a ballroom, and a multipurpose space.
Homeowners will have a large community pool and patio to enjoy as well as tennis and pickleball courts and an open-air amphitheater. For residents interested in forming clubs and planning social activities, a lifestyle director will be on-site to help with planning and logistics. Some of the events imagined by the community include card games, cocktail parties, fitness classes, dinners, and pickleball and tennis tournaments.
Palm Beach Gardens Homes for Sale
Two collections of new construction single-family homes will be available to buyers. The Palm Collection includes five floor plans ranging from 1,883 to 2,404 square feet. These homes have two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. Many models have a den, which can also be converted into an office space or an extra bedroom. All homes are single-story models with open floor plans, spacious closets, and private outdoor space.
The Tradewinds Collection also has five floor plans, and these are a bit larger. They range from 2,530 to 2,858 square feet with three bedrooms and a den. There are two-and-a-half or three bathrooms and an attached two or three-car garage. Formal foyers, walk-in pantries, and covered lanais are included in these homes. The master suites have enormous walk-in closets and double vanities in the bathrooms.
Most homes will be priced in the low to high $500s. Models are currently available and can be toured at the community.
Living in Palm Beach Gardens
Regency at Avenir is ideally located, both within the large and appealing master-planned Avenir community and the Palm Beach Gardens area, which is close to the beach, shopping, and outdoor activities like golf, boating, and fishing.
Panther National Golf Club is within Avenir, providing an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, a nine-hole, par-3 short course, and practice facilities. Other local golf courses include Sandhill Crane Golf Club, North Palm Beach Country Club, and PGA National.
Peanut Island Park is in the Lake Worth Lagoon on the Intercoastal Waterway and a popular spot for locals to swim, fish, and enjoy tropical scenery and walks. Riviera Beach is a short drive from the community, and residents interested in nearby Atlantic coastal towns can explore Jupiter, Juno Beach, and West Palm Beach.
For shopping and culture, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens provides an open-air village experience, complete with restaurants, shops, and galleries. There’s a movie theater and live music, and farmers markets are frequently held on the weekends. An 84-acre town center is also planned for the Avenir community.
Construction at Regency at Avenir is part of Phase I at Avenir, which is nearing completion. Work on Phase II is expected to begin later in 2021.
