Spread across 180 beautiful acres in Fort Myers, Florida, Seven Lakes is a well-established golf community which welcomes active adults with an exciting line-up of activities, clubs and events. Its resort-style amenities are specifically designed for active adults, while its affordable resale homes are an ideal choice for those who want low-maintenance living.

Built between 1970 and 1989, Seven Lakes was established as a haven for residents aged 55 or better. This gated community features many popular amenities, as well as a social calendar filled with many community events, activities and social club meetings. Seven Lakes’ prime location puts it within easy access of area shops, restaurants and services. It is also within close proximity of major highways such as U.S. Route 41 and Interstate 75.

Social and recreational activities at Seven Lakes are largely centered around the spacious Pavilion clubhouse. Residents can gather for some friendly competition in the cards and billiards rooms, rent books and movies from the library, stay fit in the exercise room, and share a great meal in the Tee Room Restaurant. Hobby studios support a wide range of creative interests, including general arts and crafts, lapidary, ceramics and woodworking.

The Pavilion clubhouse also provides plenty of space for community events and activities, including a 500-seat auditorium and a multipurpose meeting room. Social clubs covering a variety of interests often meet at the clubhouse as well. Just a few of these popular groups include a Thespian Club, a Quilting Group and a Photography Club.

Outdoors, the amenities continue with a variety of recreations set amid mature landscaping and scenic lakes. Resident golfers can enjoy free play at Seven Lakes’ 18-hole executive golf course, while sports courts support activities like tennis, bocce ball and shuffleboard. Six heated swimming pools are scattered throughout the community as well.

When it comes to homes, Seven Lakes offers 1,906 condos and attached villas which offer golf course views and low-maintenance living. Condos are arranged in three- to five-story buildings with elevator access and storage space for each unit. They were built in 30 floor plans, ranging in size from 700 to 1,600 square feet. Each unit has one or two bedrooms, and one to two bathrooms. Some also have assigned parking spaces.

Attached villas at Seven Lakes include ten models ranging from 1,175 to 1,600 square feet. These thoughtfully designed homes provide main-level living with two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attached one-car garage. Many homes let residents enjoy the outdoors with features like covered porches, patios, screened lanais and enclosed Florida rooms.
