Check out Twin Lakes, a new 55+ lakefront community in St. Cloud, Florida.

A new 55+ community is coming to Central Florida that will be a retirement hotspot for active adult homebuyers. Twin Lakes in St. Cloud will be spread across 1,100 acres of lush landscaping and will consist of 2,000 homes. Builder Jones Homes plans to offer innovative floor plans, as well as luxurious amenities and activities to provide residents with a vibrant and low-maintenance lifestyle. Ideally situated in Osceola County, living in this community will put residents in close proximity to daily necessities, attractions, and entertainment.

Construction of Twin Lakes began in 2016 by Jones Homes. Homebuyers will be able to choose from a variety of attached or single-family home designs that come in different price points to meet all budgets and styles. The attached homes range from 1,351 to 1,449 square feet and have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached one-and-a-half or two-car garage. They feature open layouts, luxurious master suites, and spacious living areas. Pricing for attached homes starts in the low $200s.

Retirees who want a bit more space can choose from eight distinct single-family floor plans. These detached residences offer 1,596 to 3,146 square feet. They have one to three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and an attached two- to three-car garage. Single-family homes are priced from the low $200s to mid $400s and feature gourmet kitchens, formal dining rooms, inviting living areas, and elegant master suites, and covered outdoor living spaces.

Not only will this beautiful age-restricted community offer low-maintenance home designs but it will also have a lavish clubhouse situated along the shoreline of Live Oak Lake. Proposed plans call for a 20,000-square-foot lakefront clubhouse that will have resort-style indoor and outdoor amenities that active adults are sure to love. Inside, the clubhouse will feature a ballroom, a fitness center, a game room, card tables, and an on-site restaurant and bar.

Staying physically fit while enjoying the sunny Florida climate will be easy with all of the outdoor amenities. Residents will have a resort-style pool and patio that’s perfect for relaxing on a warm day. Neighbors will be able to challenge each other in multiple sports on the tennis, pickleball, bocce, and basketball courts. The neighborhood’s walking and biking trails will be great for leisurely strolls any day of the week. A pier and scenic lake will add a picturesque backdrop to this serene active adult community.

The best part of living in Twin Lakes will be the social environment. Active adults will have plenty of opportunities to be as active and engaged as they choose. A full-time activities director will also be onsite to help plan and organize clubs, holiday events, and functions for all residents to enjoy. Homeowners will be able to join groups or share similar interests with other like-minded adults, including playing basketball, bocce, cards, tennis, or pickleball. They will also have time to spend on the lake and enjoy water activities like boating, canoeing, kayaking, or swimming.

Just ten minutes away residents will find downtown St. Cloud, where they will find plenty of retail stores and restaurants as well as a gas station and public library.
