Nestled in Phoenix’s northwest valley, Sun City Grand is a spectacular active adult community which features a full range of amenities to offer residents a healthy, social lifestyle. Highlights of this resort-style development include three spacious clubhouses, three 18-hole golf courses, and three restaurants. A variety of special interests are supported including arts and crafts, lifelong learning, sports, and other recreational activities.

Sun City Grand enjoys a prime setting within close proximity of several retail centers, restaurants, and local attractions. Yet its own tranquil grounds feature a number of amenities which will keep residents active without ever leaving the community.

The Amenities of Sun City Grand

At the heart of the community, the Village Center features an inviting courtyard with cascading waterfalls and social areas to gather with friends or mingle with other neighbors. Indoors, this spacious clubhouse contains multipurpose hobby rooms and a 9,000 square-foot grand ballroom.

Several arts and crafts studios, meeting rooms, and charter clubs can be found in the Village Artisan Studios. A few of the specialties supported include ceramics, stained glass, sewing, and woodworking.

Meanwhile, the Lifelong Learning Academy offers residents a fully-integrated center for continuing education with lectures, hands-on classes, and group discussions. Topics of study cover many interests, from science and business to culinary arts and wine tasting. Health-minded residents can easily stay in shape with a trip to the Adobe Spa and Fitness Center. This state-of-the-art fitness facility features high-end cardiovascular and strength training equipment, as well as an aerobics studio, an indoor walking track, and an indoor lap pool. After a workout, residents can pamper themselves with the full-service treatments offered at the Cimarron Day Spa.

Outdoors, Sun City Grand’s impressive grounds feature resort-style swimming pools and lap pools, as well as sundecks with both sunny and shady social areas. Sports courts offer recreations like tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, horseshoes, lawn bowling, and softball. There are also fishing lakes, a pet park, RV parking, and an outdoor amphitheater.

Golfers will particularly love life at Sun City Grand as the community features four golf courses designed by PGA Hall-of-Famer Billy Casper and golf architect Greg Nash. These exciting courses—Cimarron, Desert Springs, Granite Falls North, and Granite Falls South—include multiple tee boxes to make them challenging, yet accessible to golfers of any skill level.
