Just 20 miles north of Tucson, Arizona, Sun City Oro Valley is a beautiful Del Webb community which welcomes active adults aged 45 or better. Views of the Santa Catalina Mountains add scenic charm to this suburban development, while resort-style amenities,and an active social calendar encourage residents to pursue their favorite pastimes.

Sun City Oro Valley was built by Del Webb between 1986 and 1996. The lovely grounds span over 1,000 acres and offer 2,488 homes including both single-family and attached home styles. Although construction is now complete, interested homebuyers can choose from available resale homes, including many which have been renovated with updated features and modern appliances.

During the community’s 10-year construction period, Del Webb offered nearly 50 different floor plans. Attached garden villas provide low-maintenance living, while a diverse line-up of single-family models range in size from 1,035 to over 2,700 square feet.

These homes were built with many desirable features, such as open floor plans, spacious master bedroom suites and patios for outdoor living. Most homes throughout Sun City Oro Valley include two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. Larger designs offer up to three bedrooms, three bathrooms, separate dens, and two-and-a-half-car garages. There are also a few smaller one-bedroom homes with one bathroom and one-car garages.

The comprehensive collection of amenities at Sun City Oro Valley are spread throughout three clubhouses.  

Amenities at Sun City Oro Valley are spread across three recreation centers. At the Mountain Vista Recreation Center, residents can easily stay in shape at the fitness center and dance studio. The auditorium is ideal for many special events, and craft facilities make it easy for residents to pursue hobbies such as ceramics, lapidary, sewing, and woodworking. Additional arts and crafts studios, a photography studio, and a billiards room are available at the Catalina Vista clubhouse.

The Desert Oasis Recreation Center also provides several multipurpose rooms which are ideal for club meetings or social gatherings. Highlights of the outdoor amenities throughout Sun City Oro Valley include swimming pools, a miniature golf course and sports courts for tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, basketball,  and shuffleboard.

Golf enthusiasts will also enjoy The View Golf Club at Oro Valley. This semi-private club features a challenging 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Hall-of-Famer Greg Nash. Just outside Sun City Oro Valley, residents will find themselves in close proximity to exciting attractions and natural beauty. The community is adjacent to the Catalina State Park and Coronado National Forest, which provide plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, skiing, and other outdoor activities. It is also within easy reach of restaurants and retail centers, and only 30 minutes from the diverse attractions in Downtown Tucson.
