Models here start at around 1,000 square feet, but some still offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached garage or carport. One-bedroom models are also available.

As a larger community, there are naturally a large number of amenities. These include an 18-hole golf course with a clubhouse, restaurant, bar, and pro shop. There’s also another clubhouse for non-golfers, along with a fitness center, a ballroom, an arts and crafts studio, a heated outdoor pool and spa, and courts for pickleball and shuffleboard. There are also many clubs and classes for residents to participate in, including yoga, fitness, dancing, arts and crafts, card and board games, and casino trips.

Apache Wells

There are only two home models at Greenfield Glen, and the smaller has 1,104 square feet. This provides two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a two-car garage. 

Being smaller, Greenfield Glen has fewer amenities than the previous two larger communities, but it still offers a clubhouse, a library, an arts and crafts studio, a heated outdoor pool and spa, an exercise room, a tennis court, and four shuffleboard courts. There are several groups and clubs including arts and crafts groups, tennis, billiards, a choir, and planned day trips.

Sunland Village East

Sunland Village East is a 55+ active adult community with 2,437 attached and single-family homes. It’s located about a 20-minute drive east of Mesa’s historic downtown, and 10-15 minutes from the activities available in Red Mountain Park.

Smaller homes start at 1,000 square feet and provide one bedroom, a den, two bathrooms, and a one-car garage. There are also a number of other smaller models available.

The facilities here center around a North Complex, a South Complex, and the 18-hole golf course. The amenities provided by these include a restaurant, two outdoor pools, six lighted tennis courts, an exercise room, an arts and crafts studio, and a woodworking shop.
