Kings Point in Delray Beach – Delray Beach

Below $100k – Mid $100s

A large community made up of 7,200 condominium homes, Kings Point in Delray Beach is popular for a lot of reasons. The main clubhouse is 10,000 square feet and includes a large fitness center, an indoor pool, and a cafe. There’s also a library, a multi-purpose room, a woodworking shop, a salon, a par-three golf course, 28 shuffleboard courts, and access to community transit.

There are two other clubhouses as well: the Flanders Clubhouse and the Monaco Clubhouse, featuring their own pools, fitness centers, and game and billiards rooms. An 18-hole executive golf course is also available to residents who want to tee off in their backyard.

Interested buyers can choose the model that fits their budget and lifestyle. Condos at Kings Point in Delray Beach are affordable and low-maintenance. There are six floor plans, ranging from 762 to 1,100 square feet with one or two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an assigned parking space. The buildings are one or two stories with views of the golf course or the ponds.

Huntington Lakes – Delray Beach

Another 55+ community getting a lot of attention from both local buyers and out-of-state shoppers who want affordable and comfortable Delray Beach real estate is Huntington Lakes. Golfers especially appreciate the 9-hole Marina Lakes Golf Course and the practice facilities.

The clubhouse is 50,000 square feet and includes a fitness center, steam room, indoor pool, aerobics studio, ceramics studio, woodworking shop, and performance theater. Outside, residents enjoy the nine pools and patios, shuffleboard and tennis courts, and horseshoe pits. There are some scenic trails that are great for walking, biking, or jogging, and neighbors come together for things like social clubs, jazz groups, and bowling leagues. 

With between 990 and 1,200 square feet, condos are manageable and low-maintenance. Resale units have one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, plenty of parking, and open floor plans. Huntington Lakes is well-located, just minutes from East Atlantic Avenue and all of Downtown Delray Beach’s shopping and dining opportunities.

Century Village at West Palm Beach – West Palm Beach

Another large condo community that made the list of bestsellers is Century Village at West Palm Beach. This gated 55+ community offers resale condo units in 10 models, ranging from 600 to 1,500 square feet. One or two bedrooms are available with one or two bathrooms and plenty of parking. Floor plans are open and all properties come with balconies or patios.

Plenty of pools can be found around the community, including an indoor resistance pool inside the 92,000-square-foot clubhouse. There’s also an upgraded fitness center, a sewing studio, a party room, and a computer lab. Residents enjoy fitness classes and game nights, and there are also shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, and a billiards center to keep everyone active and social.

There’s an activities director on-site to plan events, schedule performances, and organize community day trips. The beach is minutes away, and local community transit makes getting back and forth a breeze.

Century Village at Boca Raton – Boca Raton

Below $100k – High $200s

Century Village at Boca Raton is also a hot-selling 55+ community, thanks to its great location and ample amenities. There’s a huge 125,000-square-foot clubhouse, which serves as the main gathering place for neighbors and their guests. A fitness center and a performing arts center anchor the clubhouse, and residents also enjoy the swimming pools, shuffleboard courts, and putting green. There are also bocce ball and tennis courts, classrooms, computers, and a ceramics studio. Plenty of clubs are available, including the French club, scrabble club, and a poetry group.

Buyers looking for a West Palm Beach home that’s low-maintenance and comfortable will love the options at Century Village. Nine models are available as resale homes, starting at 601 square feet and getting as large as 1,563 square feet. Most models have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but smaller properties with one bedroom and a single bath are also available.

The Cascades – Boynton Beach

It’s not all condo living. The hottest single-family Palm Beach County homes for sale are at The Cascades in Boynton Beach. These are spacious and comfortable properties, with three bedrooms, two or more bathrooms, and attached two-car garages. Five models are available with between 1,760 and 2,548 square feet. There’s also a television lounge, a fitness center, a library, two outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a tennis pro shop.
