A new active adult community may be coming to East Allen Township in Pennsylvania. Builder Toll Brothers received conditional-use approval from the Board of Supervisors recently to develop a 55+ community called Regency at Creekside Meadows.
This new age-restricted community, which will require at least one resident to be over the age of 55, will be built on 100 acres along the western edge of Route 512 and across from Steuben Road.
The community will host a total of 232 residences upon completion. According to Toll Brothers’ senior project manager, Mike Dougherty, Regency at Creekside Meadows will have a mix of home styles that will include 142 single-family homes, 54 triplex homes, and 36 duplex homes. The active adult community will also have private roads. Proposed amenities currently include a clubhouse, swimming pool, putting green, and bocce ball court.
A homeowners’ association will also be set in place once the community has sold out. According to Dougherty, construction of this new age-restricted community is not likely to begin this year as the builder has to fulfill certain requirements.
Toll Brothers is still in the works to finalize the purchase of the land from David Jaindl and also has to obtain a highway occupancy permit from PennDOT.
