Traditions of America just announced that their 28th active adult community, Traditions of America at Chesterfield, will be opening for sales later this year. This is the builder’s first 55+ neighborhood in Virginia, and it is half an hour south of beautiful Downtown Richmond in Chesterfield. Construction is set to begin this summer and starting in the fall homebuyers can start looking over the property and making their selections.

Traditions of America at Chesterfield Homes For Sale 

Plans call for 234 maintenance-free single-family homes, priced from the high $200s to the mid $300s. The open-concept floor plans range from 1,200 to 1,500 square feet, with two spacious bedrooms, two baths, and attached two-car garages. You can expect to find high-end options like master suites with dual walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms, great rooms with cathedral ceilings, and chef’s kitchens with central islands in these customizable homes. 

Other features include patios, porches, formal dining rooms, and comfortable guest suites. Future residents can take advantage of walking trails, cul-de-sacs, and homes that are within walking distance of the community clubhouse. You will also have more time to relax in your new home here, because Tradition of America’s year-round maintenance services provide for lawn care, leaf pick up, snow removal, and exterior maintenance.

Traditions of America at Chesterfield Amenities

Homeowners will also be able to take advantage of Traditions of America at Chesterfield’s 5-star resort-style amenities. Residents will have access to a spacious clubhouse with a cafe and bar as well as an outdoor heated pool, sports courts, a putting green, and a fitness center.

Traditions of America also provides Lifestyle Directors at their communities, so once things are up and running, there will be groups and events for different interests such as holiday parties, competitive sports, music, and fitness classes.

Living in Chesterfield, VA 

Chesterfield is growing in popularity amongst active homebuyers in Virginia. The Richmond suburb is less than half an hour from the city, making it easy to access daily necessities and local attractions. Traditions of America at Chesterfield is near the 288 Beltway, which leads into I-95. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the Richmond International Airport. 

The community is within a short drive to the Chesterfield Towne Center shopping mall, grocery stores, a farmers market, pharmacies, and restaurants. Retailers like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Ulta, and Petco are also close by.
