Trilogy at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo is a luxurious lifestyle community with an award-winning clubhouse, spectacular golf course, full-service spa, and state-of-the-art fitness center.

While Trilogy at Monarch Dunes may not have an age restriction, this lovely Shea Homes community has many features that appeal specifically to active adult residents. The social calendar is loaded with classes, club meetings, outings, and activities. The community has a spectacular 30-hole golf course and a spacious, amenity-rich clubhouse. Additionally, the area’s fabulous climate and scenic beauty will make residents feel as if they are living in paradise.

Trilogy at Monarch Dunes is located in Nipomo, California, which is about one hour north of Santa Barbara. The rural community is situated amid rolling hills and lush vineyards but is only 15 minutes from both Pismo Beach and Avila Beach. The town also lies within 30 minutes of San Luis Obispo, a town Oprah Winfrey has dubbed, “America’s Happiest City.”

There may be plenty to do in the area, but residents don’t have to leave the community to stay busy. Kevin Beauchamp, a local real estate expert, tells us that Trilogy at Monarch Dunes has classes and activities scheduled nearly every day. Just a few examples include yoga, exercise classes, art and craft tutorials, wine tasting, lectures, and shopping trips.

“You name your interest or hobby and there is almost certainly a club or group that you can join,” Kevin explains. “Living in Trilogy is like living on a cruise ship with your own activities director.”

Most of the community’s popular activities revolve around the Trilogy at Monarch Dune’s 31,000 square foot clubhouse, The Monarch Club. Here, residents will find resort-style amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool and spa, and lighted tennis courts.

At Trilogy at Monarch Dunes, activities begin at the 31,000 square foot clubhouse, The Monarch Club. This award-winning facility houses a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring TechnoGym equipment, energizing fitness classes, personal trainers, and an outdoor pool complete with a cozy fireplace.

The Monarch Club’s full-service Sandalwood Spa is a lovely place to unwind. Residents can also exercise their minds by signing up for a variety of classes at the community’s Center for Higher Learning. In addition to the amenities offered at the clubhouse, golfers will also enjoy two beautiful and challenging courses at The Monarch Dunes Golf Club.

Though Trilogy at Monarch Dunes already offers a wide range of amenities, Kevin tells us that there are plans to add a commercial center to the community over the course of the next five to ten years. This commercial center is planned to have a local market, restaurants, coffee houses, and various other professional services.

When it comes to residences, Trilogy at Monarch Dunes has both new construction and resale single-family homes. There are several models available, allowing homebuyers to find their own ideal layout.

Though homes are available in a wide range of sizes and styles, Kevin finds that homebuyers tend to prefer the smaller floor plans. He says, “The most popular models are the Monterey (1,650 square feet), Cambria (1,850 square feet), Corbett (2,000 square feet), and Lopez (2,000 square feet).”

With a temperate climate, beautiful scenery, and a wide range of community activities, it’s easy to see why Trilogy at Monarch Dunes is a hit with active adult homebuyers. Come to visit for yourself and experience why San Luis Obispo county is one of the happiest areas in America.
