Stunning architecture, gorgeous vistas, world-class amenities and eco-friendly homes attract discerning active adults to Trilogy at Monarch Dunes.

The luxurious, eco-friendly homes that draw many active adults to Trilogy at Monarch Dunes in Nipomo, California are now even more appealing. In addition to unveiling several new floor plans, Shea Homes has also introduced SheaXero, the no electric bill home. With a range of features including solar power systems and energy-efficient appliances, the SheaXero package creates homes that set a new standard for sustainable living.

World-Class Amenities

Trilogy at Monarch Dunes is a Shea Homes active adult community set in scenic Nipomo, California. The community boasts an active lifestyle with many resort-style amenities, including 30 challenging holes of golf at The Monarch Dunes Golf Club. Set amid spectacular scenery, golfers can either play the 18-hole Old Course or the new 12-hole Challenge Course.

Recreational activities within the community are largely centered around The Monarch Club, a 31,000-square-foot clubhouse. Here, residents enjoy features such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, and bocce ball courts. Personal trainers and a variety of fitness classes help motivate an active fitness program.

The Monarch Club houses many other facilities as well. Residents can relax and rejuvenate at the full-service Sandalwood Spa or take classes through the Center for Higher Learning. Adelina’s Bistro is a charming restaurant for casually elegant dining, while residents who are on the go can grab a prepared meal or cup of coffee at the Market Place.

Meticulous attention-to-detail is evident throughout the luxurious 31,000 square-foot Monarch Club.

Luxurious Home Styles

Construction of Trilogy at Monarch Dunes began in 2005 and continues today. Upon completion, the community plans to include 1,350 single-family homes. Previously, the community offered 13 floor plans spread across the Costas, Valles, Playas, and Cerros Collections. These floor plans are part of the Primera Series.

Shea Homes has expanded its line-up to include a new Lagos Collection, new floor plans in the Playas Collection, and the new Entrada Series of homes. While the Primera Series highlights high-end fixtures and dramatic architectural accents, the new Entrada Series of homes is designed with value and flexibility in mind.

Entrada homes begin at a lower price point, making them more accessible to homebuyers on a budget. The new Lagos Collection includes two Entrada Series floor plans: Zaca (1,428 square feet) and Cachuma (1,565 square feet). They are each designed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The Cachuma model also has an optional third bedroom.

Shea Homes has also added two new floor plans to Trilogy at Monarch Dune’s Playas Collection: Rincon (2,164 to 2,386 square feet) and Carmel (2,551 to 2,991 square feet). These homes feature two bedrooms, two or two-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages, with an optional extra one-car garage. They also have the option of adding a third bedroom or even a casita.

Eco-Friendly Homes

Homebuyers who look to Shea Homes for eco-friendly, energy-efficient homes will likely be interested in the new SheaXero homes. Through a series of features such as solar power systems, energy-efficient appliances, and highly efficient insulation, SheaXero homes are built to provide their own power with no electric bill. While SheaXero homes cost a bit more to build, they are designed to save thousands of dollars each year through energy savings.

If Trilogy at Monarch Dunes sounds like your ideal retirement destination, consider planning a visit to experience the community for yourself. Once you see the fabulous, resort-style amenities and beautiful, energy-efficient homes, you may be ready to call Trilogy at Monarch Dunes home.
